What The Hell Is Wrong With My Plants?

Oh man. I've screwed things up pretty bad.

So I've got my three flowering plants - I feel like two have been flowering for a month now. One has been in there for a couple weeks.

My two flowering girls seem to have stopped growing. I'm really worried about harshness, so I haven't fed them in a while, which is probably why the buds are small and the leaves are ugly.

I'm just looking for any advice here. Should I feed them? Harvest them? Are they too hot or cold? I really hurt one by spraying it with the wrong kind of soap - I've switched to Iso for controlling the spider mites, so that won't happen again, hopefully.

THEY'VE BEEN TO HELL AND BACK????

OK man, so sorry you're going through this . . . . gutted for yah bro . . . . .

I'm witnessing some heavy reaction to something that was put on the leaves; a very bad mite infestation, and a completely under nourished set of plants tbh . . . .

Q's

When where they last fed?
What is the PH of what you are feeding and watering them?
What have you folia sprayed recently, apart from the soap?
Room temps at night and during peak lights on. (Peak, if your lights are on during the day, a reading at the hottest part of the day)
Your chosen medium
Your nutrient line up
The EC and PH of your tap water, if that's what you are using.

Hear from you in a bit . . . .

In regard to your comment: My two flowering girls seem to have stopped growing. I have two girls that stopped growing as well. Altho I haven't sprayed them with anything. Lots of flowers popped out about 2 weeks ago and there's been nothing since. I transplanted one to a larger pot using my home made compost and watered with pH'd water.

Here's the deal. When I water them, the water that comes out the bottom is like a burgandy/brown color and I"m wondering if I need to flush them in case I have salt build up of nute block going on. They look great, they just still have the same little buds on them that they had from jump. Aren't I supposed to be seeing more growth by now? Should I flush them out?

HIJACKED!!!!! lol

Too much nutrient will grind everything to a halt, as you can bet a buck, there are PH problems because salts are building up . . . . .

Water em if your run off is more than a weak Earl Grey Tea coloured | Flush them if your run off looks like weak coffee (without the milk n sugar, lol)

I THOUGHT THAT WAS IT! THANKS! Can I sit them in the bathtub and run water thru them instead of trying to catch all that water in my grow room and hauling all that water in? My water has a high, high pH. I guess after I flush them, I can run some pH'd water thru them last (with nutes or no nutes)? My runoff looks like iced tea.

Hey! And feed them if your water is perfectly clear for two days ;)

If you are a traditional feeder . . . .!!

Fuck yeah bro . . . .best way is the tub.

Get another bucket, first flush, slowly dunk the pot into the bath tub, allow water to completely penetrate the surface of the soil in the middle, hold it there for 2 mins, giving a lil wiggle, then pull it out to collect as much run off in the bucket you got ready earlier.

Then do a traditional flush over the bucket and allow the volume of soil you have, in water, to pass straight through :)

Ba booooom!

Well that's what I did when I fed traditionally . . . . . a while back now . . . .lol (my current schedule allows for one straight watering every 10 days you see ;)

Though to be fair every strain is different, some eat more than others, but generally if you find clear run off, you need to be thinking of feeding within a couiple of days . . . . defo in transition / flowering . . . imho.

"nother words, wait two days before i give them any nutes as long as the water runs clear?

Thanks so much for the help. You're saying to hang onto the first flush of water? You said to collect as much run off in the bucket you got ready earlier. What to do with that? I'm confused.

Okay, I'm off to the bathroom!

Ok, so fill the tub with loads of water, ph it to 6.5.

For the first flush, dunk the pot in the bath, slowly, allowing for the water to make its own way UP through the medium, rather than being dragged DOWN (by gravity) through the medium, you'll get a far more efficient flush when you pass water through it the second time round :)

To end all confusion, any run off you collect, dump! Oooooo Oooooo get a PH and EC reading first!!!!

Ok so, we have different stages to our ladies lives . . . . imho

Seedling/Cutting prop stage
Early Vegetative
Vegetative
12/12
Early Transition
Transition
Cluster Fucking . . .lmao (when the heads start to cluster up)
Early Flowering
Flowering
Later Flowering
Maturation
Ripening

And they need slight tweaks to environment and nutrient profiles.

The most demanding times for our plants lives are, germination, transition and early to late flowering . . . .imho

TRANSITION the change from a leaf and branch building machine, into a flower and fruit builder :) . . . it's a gentle and complex process, that many just leave to a few bottles of nutrient to sort out . . . . . .

Happy??

Oh and DEFO in transition = definitely in transition (Dang, my X uk wife used that all the time . . . .. I'M OVER HER, YOU HEAR?? LOL)

What is "defo in transition:?

WOOOOOOOAH THERE HORSEY . . . . .

everything that goes through your soil must be adjusted to 6.5ph

no nutes, it's iced tea colored, remember ;)

Oops! Okay, I'm back again, ran ph'd water thru really good. Okay, don't nute for 2 whole days? Oh, Iced tea. I think that was just the compost in one of them. That one I didn't TOTALLY sterilize because I just transplanted it today and it's got good stuff in it, but I did give it a rinse.

Early Flowering
Flowering
Later Flowering - This is where I am now.

Here's a diagram someone sent me today. I still can't figure out how it buds up the stem when there's nothing there between nodes. I have, like an inch or two between nodes, how can anything fill that in?photo of plant parts.jpg

Errrrrrr NO! YOU hijacked this thread!!!! lmao!!

21 days . . .. . hey that's not so bad . . . . .. leaves are curling up though . . . .sure sign they are having difficulty breathing coz it's a bit too warm!!! or get some more Ca in her!

Get some energy into her too . . .. carbs . . . .molasses . . . .. AN's Bud Candy (Sorry guys, it's brilliant!)

I thought about that. We hijacked this thread but he's learning too, whenever he comes online.
They are three weeks in flower. Pic two looks good in enlarged view.
