Hei guys. I made a post some time ago about a plant growing up in my yard. I am courious if it's a hermafrodite. I don't think so but i'm not verry experienced and i would love your input on this matter.View attachment 3449679 View attachment 3449680 View attachment 3449681
I fed her some time ago, but now i don't know if I should because it's getting pretty big (@ 2,1m).I see no pollen sacks at all yet. Looks like a solid random yard plant. And not sure what MadProphessor is talking bout with "natural hemp" or "larfy mess" but its looking good so far and whatever its been fed is obviously been working just fine with those greens. Just needs more time
I am talking about having knowledge that he found the plant in his yard. Cannabis grows naturally all over the world. From the 20+ years I have been growing, I would say that this plant needs as much help as it can get. It does not appear to be strong genetically (or any other way). The way the buds are forming are more congruent with a monster cropped plant. This is indicative of either weak genetics, natural hemp strain or a starving plant. Which is it? Clearly, you have no idea what you are talking about and need more experience to be able to recognize the difference. Thanks for showing up tho.I see no pollen sacks at all yet. Yea. The only reason i keep it it's curiosity. I will feed it and keep you update with the progress on this thread.I am talking about having knowledge that he found the plant in his yard. OP: It needs more than just time. Feed it as much as you can. I doubt it will produce quality smoke, but you never know. Get some good genetics if you are serious about giving growing a go. You could put a lot of time into this plant only for it to screw you over in the end with it's poor genetics. I would just fuck with it to see what it does.
I don't expect much. As i said in the post above, it's just curiosity. I'll keep posting on this thread with progress.Listen to MP, his advice is solid. I spent time and money chasing bag seed plants with unknown genes and I got burned more times than not and in the end you cannot make weed more potent/powerful by growing it right. You can make it prettier and improve the bag appeal but tricome production (thc content is controlled by the genes). Now is the time to try this or that like MP suggests. Keep us informed on progress
That is a good plan. The height thing sounds like hemp to me (or Cannabis Sativa, Sativa for the genetically curious) or a heavy Sativa if it is a usable strain.Yea. The only reason i keep it it's curiosity. I will feed it and keep you update with the progress on this thread.
It grew too much in height and it can't stand on it's own. I was afraid if I fed it it would take even more height.
Also the other reason for asking is that i want to start growing with auto seeds and i do not want this to corrupt the other plants with it's pollen.
Some pics, the last one was a month after cloningI don't expect much. As i said in the post above, it's just curiosity. I'll keep posting on this thread with progress.
Do you have any pictures?
I thought this one will keep growing until september-october, won't it? I don't really want to start with non-auto because i don't have any experience. That is a good plan. It could be problematic with the pollen for sure. Just run photos instead and you should have time for this current one to finish before you have to worry about it. That in itself will open up another box of worms for you, but that is for another thread.
Mine looks like the third one, and instead of getting bushier it just grew up xDSome pics, the last one was a month after cloning
In my limited experience photo period plants ( regular pot seeds) are easier and more durable than auto flowering plants. Autos are easily stressed and respond by going into shock lock. Too heavy of fertilizer and your already behind, need to transplant? Forgot it you'll never catch up. RI thought this one will keep growing until september-october, won't it? I want to buy some auto white widow. Are they newbie friendly?
