Ive got a neighbour who pretty much loses a cat a year cause he doesnt neuter him. He always gets a cat around like september, brags about how cool it is and how it goes shitting next to the cabbages. Then when heat starts thats it the fucker comes sometimes for a bit of a scran and then disappears. 3 cats ive counted now!

I would suggest to neuter.
Its the reason people dont neuter and spay why we have so many animals killed each year , cats can have many kittens,
along with that you have the male spraying
I would suggest if you choose not to neuter to keep your cat indoors, your cat should be kept indoors anyways
Kept indoors? As in permanently, or that they have a bed there?

I can't stand people who buy cats and then keep then shut up in a house. If the cat can't go outside be it because of the neighbourhood or whatever, and do whatever it pleases, then just do the right thing and don't own a cat :)

I think this might be a country thing tip in North America it's considered wrong to let your cat roam around outside without you
It's considered wrongful ownership for good reason too because it's usually

The cat will either be killed by a wild animal
Hit by a car
Picked up by another human taken into their home
Or surrendered to a shelter with possible euthanization

Yeah, an outdoor cat in these parts lives a year or two. There are always ferals around. But never the same ones for long.

Nah especially in Canada too too many wild animals in the cities that just kill cats
It is not uncommon when cats go missing that they are never found again

I rescued my cats, their feral mother got hit by a car and I had to bottle feed them for weeks and everything. I used to let them out but one got hit by a car and we had some close calls with the large dogs next door so they stay in.

Not to mention there are coyotes, foxes, bob cats and javelinas out here.

All the outdoor cats around here don't last very long. I should just let them out so they can die?
