Hey guys, starting this up so I can actually get feedback on my grows. Have been running a pers journal up until now so here is the link for anyone who is interested!

Been running a white widow auto, critical, headband OG and super silver haze. WW was chopped yesterday was tiny and a waste of time. 2.1 oz wet (cringe)

Other three promise to be much better!

They've all been in hortico soil (also crap haha) so at the suggestion of @DirtyNerd and a couple of other people I've decided to pick up the same system @flowamasta runs (simple and great results, for anyone who hasn't, check out his thread!)

I've tossed one or two things up in the air though. Running 4 pots instead of a solo one. And a brain to help reduce spills in a gravity conflicted system (res fills the brain when it gets low and the brain recirculates into the pots)
Hoping to see some big changes in yield from what I've been getting in soil. I have started by running up super silver haze again, THC Bomb from my first grow, lemon skunk and I'm tossing up between critical or headband again. (Please help me choose!)

Oh and I'm excited! Photos to come tomorrow!

Sounds good bro but remember one of the key things with is system is only running one stain/phenotype as each plants needs are not the same that is why I waited till I had four cuttings off the same plant before I started my 4 pot system you will run in to to much trouble running other strains in the system other people that have tried to copy his system fail by doing this don't want to stop you from doing something you want but just want to give you the info to save you time and not run in to trouble later down the track the grow rate is fast in perlite so running one plant would still be very rewarding when she's in veg take some cuttings wait for them to root then start up the other tent at the end of the day it's up to you but I just want to see you do well what ever you end up doing I'll be subbed for the show

That is a decent bit of advice! Haha.. I might just take that on board :eyesmoke:

I've got a few soil/coco/per 30/40/30 plants going at m aswell. And I'm fairly impressed with the 2 biggest ones atm! They are growing very quickly and one of them (critical) has full developed calyxes at each topping site and is also showing trichs on the foremost fan leaves. Has anyone seen this type of behaviour before?

Shit! when did all this happen :D good to see you got the pot system going one thing i noticed is the return that's going in to the one with the seedlings just because full of the light getting in to the res and will give you algae and slime just a heads up :) part from that looking good

Yea I was wondering about the light getting in. But as it stands now, there is no point sealing it up because the rockwool cubes aren't sealing light tight in the net pots either.

But

I've been feeding the res a half mL of cyco zone every 2-3 days. So I change water Saturday, and top up zyme mon and thurs then change again Saturday.

So far, 2 weeks, zero signs of slime at all? So I'm either lucky, light resistant or doing something right to compensate! Hahaha..

Also, these have been in those 1 and 2 gal pots for about 2 weeks for the 2 big ones and 1 week for the smaller ones. Gonna run the flowa system in the other tent under the 1k and the soils under the 600w. I'm even considering setting up feed rings or 4mm lines for the soil pots? What do you think?

Yeah that will work but i always find spending the time hand watering the plants like it more but it dose shit me thats why i am using the recirculating system

Haha.. Nice. I'm sorting out a brain tomorrow so I can set up my whole system. How long do you reckon the HB OG and Critical have left? They are 6 weeks flower tomorrow I'm pretty sure. The HB's lower buds are starting to brown their calyxes out now. Another 1? 2 weeks?

That photo doesn't even show the tiniest bit of it! I tried drying my trim from an early snip ( just little ones) and it was so sticky I couldn't put it down tried laying it out nice and thin and all the leaves started ripping and clumping into balls lol..

Never been so ecstatic and frustrated at the same time!

Hey all. Did a big clean out of the grow space today. Lots of bleach and scrubbing! Lol.. I refreshed my tote res and half filled my new barrel res (just water to rinse it out) for when I set up all 4 pots. I don't think it will be long now. 2-3 weeks at most. Then I'll swap the flower tent to veg and vice versa and let the 30/40/30 pots flower out under the 600w. And run my 4 super silvers in the "flowperpots" lol.. I like that name haha.. Running 620ppm in the res tote atm with cyco A+B, dr repair, zyme and rhizo.

@DirtyNerd each time my water cycles, my plants start looking a little water logged. Was wondering if it could be to do with transplant shock? Or if I need to back off the cycles? Currently 4 min @1200L/h every 3 hours?

Hey bro when I started using this system I only watered once a day then every 12 hours then after she was in full veg/flower once every once every 6 hours and kept it that every 3 hours seemed to much to me plants like to dry out and let the oxygen get to the roots :) each to there own

Also hand feed till the roots grow out to the rings once you notice her growing well no need to hand water
