I just ordered some auto UK cheese by HSO just want to try it out, and exotic cookies & cream. Plus he said he would throw me some freebies even though sale ended by the time I called him up, if he had any left so excited to see what comes with that, also have some train wreck and blueberry seeds laying around. First time NGR customer here and have a few Q's if anyone can help.
Do they give out freebies with orders? I have seen various promos but not sure if they give freebies regularly like say, Herbies/Single Seed Centre - my usual shops.
Anyone know how shipping is to Midwest area (specifically Chicago)?
Lastly, I've had a grow show for around a decade or so, so I'm familiar with many strains. However what genetics would you guys recommend from NGR? I'm not AS familiar with all the new hip genetics as I'd like to be, however I love seeing some cool hybrids with some elite genetics. Any recommendations from breeders on NGR is welcome!

Freebies come with every order (to my knowledge) but I'd wait for the weekend as he seems to be running bigger promos almost every weekend now.
Shipping to Chicago will be quick. 2-3 days depending what day you place the order.
As for breeders, I'm not too hip on a lot of the newer guys either, but BOG, Dynasty, and Sin City all have good reputations.

Check out the dynasty, sin city, and exotic threads here on RIU, you might find something you like. Plus I have always received more then I paid for.

Great info, I've really been interested in Sin City, they have a lot of good looking stuff, just need to check in on some journals so I can find what specifically suits my needs as far as finding a mother for SOG purposes. Looking to run some new stuff so I certainly appreciate the info my friend!

I've checked out Exotic quite a bit and they have some of the most interesting hybrids, little pricey though.
Cannaventure's Cookie Wreck has been my #1 sought after strain. Can never seem to find it in stock though which is a huge bummer! I've also heard some bad things about Canna and his stock being hermie prone but then on the other hand I also hear the other end of the spectrum - that his strains are fantastic. I do admit I am a hermie phobic. So it's the reason I've been avoiding some of his other stuff.
La Plata Alien Blues and Budda's delight both sound interesting. Price is right too. Thanks!

I did: Durango OG, Big Skunk, Sour Pez, Lemon Alien and Alien Bubba. I have pics somewhere. But it was about a year ago. I really need to start organizing my pics by breeder or something. Digging through 5000+ nug pics is a drag.

IMVHO Cannaventure is a victim of the new "social media" way of bullying. I picked up a bunch of CV crosses a few years ago on a whim and grew them. Wow. Some of my favorite plants to date (east coast cookie wreck may be my favorite strain i've ever grown). After I grew them I looked him up and found horrible horrible things being said about him and his gear etc. The more I dug I saw that it was mainly other breeders (pacific north west) and their groupie minions who were doing the bashing "I gave you pollen and you blah blah blah". Ended up being the same 3 or so people on every forum talking crazy shit. I give them credit for the amount of shit talked. I see people steered away from CV all the time yet they can't really say why "i think i read hermies?" I've done around 8 CV strains now and I would put him in my top with bodhi, GGG etc.
Not even the hint of a hermie. TBH I've had more herms on Bodhi's gear. If you haven't grown any CV I'd give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Or, you could do what I did - I got rid of all pics on the computer. I just started a thread on RIU to store them.
