yeaaa easy... just need like a good 40 hrs of itYou may not believe this, but it's easy trimming. Ok, so there's a fair amount of it!
It's "easy" for me to replace an engine too...

@bravedave I am impressed with ya none of your ass hats are around and a lot more are coming forward on mh only
I remember stuffing my then newly built Olds 455 into my '66 Starfire. That thing was a monster; the crank alone was 75 lbs, as was each head, lolyeaaa easy... just need like a good 40 hrs of it

Yes, plants like their blue spectrum, which they aren't getting with HPS. Because I'm trying to get my babies to stretch I actually run all my remaining HPS in veg to get them to elongate, loli like halide a few weeks into flowering, then transfer to hps. may experiment with mixed lighting in flower. perhaps w some strains more others, only halide seemed to promote leaf emphasis.
I like the idea of going a couple extra weeks with MH and then turning to HPS with morning blasts of T5 Blues/UV. Had a 4 bulb ordered but what was in stock then was out if stock. So, Next grow.i like halide a few weeks into flowering, then transfer to hps. may experiment with mixed lighting in flower. perhaps w some strains more others, only halide seemed to promote leaf emphasis.
Plantmax 600/7000k/56000 lumens.thanks. i'm most interested in the Kelvin value if you find it.
I honestly haven't done any back to back but last time I ran 600 watt mh and cfu uv supplement my weed was mind numbing. I'm still messing with leds I want to try adding uv later after I get some bugs worked out. I'm glad others are sharing their thoughts on the subject.I think UVB supplementation is a fascinating idea, please let us know how it works out, no matter what you pair it with!
Apparently not unless there are complaints.all rolled into one!
does CDPHE mess with caregivers much? to check plant counts, patients etc?
"The Finisher". Specs look nice. Note the UV emphasis. Price is up there. @Rrog, looks like there is life under 400Nm.I purchased this 1000w solistek 10k bulb...
I'm going to use is for the last 3 weeks of flower.
I'm curious to know the what this bulb has the capabilities of doing to my plant, has anyone had experience with this bulb?

Shit.. I can tell you one thing...That indeed is UV. Wow. I stand corrected!
For years I supplemented with UVb reptile lamps. Quality ones. I've always been intrigued about its potential for resin production
get some pics on those when you can my brother.I purchased this 1000w solistek 10k bulb...

hey ty, since u switched to cdl have you noticed a difference in the first 2 week stretch in flower? ive had my ladies under the cdl for almost 2 weeks now and they have not stretched half as much as they did under hps/mh lighting..i should end up with nice tight colas as the nodes are much closer together now..lovin the lamp so far..The 315W LEC/CMH is a great lamp with an even better ballast, which is why it's more expensive than 860W CDM. You do get what you pay for, the small one produces a lot more output per watt than the big one. Lasts even longer, too.
the cdl lamps run much cooler than hps/mh, my 315 watt cdl can be put as close as cfl, open hood,no air cooling i was worried about heat, but its not an issue...get some pics on those when you can my brother.
I feel I am either going with a CDM 860w or a 600w 10kMH.
I want to match a 600hps with a 600mh if I can... or perhaps the 860... but that's a bit more heat because I can't run that cdm horizontally, which means no air cooling... which means temps.... also if the other hps is horizontal then that sorta has conflicting light footprints... which I don't want really.
hmm
that 600 puts out a LOT of lumens in those juicy spectrums too..
I think I may have just decided on that...
I swear...
one day it's high-end leds, the next, a cdm for my 1000w, the next I see this beefy 600wMH...
the same shit i go through with cannabis strains, women, candy bars, restaurants, and video games...
I got problems...
My plant's internode spacing is a lot tighter under CDM, that's one of the reasons I tried it originally.hey ty, since u switched to cdl have you noticed a difference in the first 2 week stretch in flower? ive had my ladies under the cdl for almost 2 weeks now and they have not stretched half as much as they did under hps/mh lighting..i should end up with nice tight colas as the nodes are much closer together now..lovin the lamp so far..
860W CDM is still enough heat to need respect, I'd say a lot like 600W HPS.the cdl lamps run much cooler than hps/mh, my 315 watt cdl can be put as close as cfl, open hood,no air cooling i was worried about heat, but its not an issue...
