There's a good chance that the homeowners insurance co won't insure due to the extensive grow op. I'd say there's at least a 25% chance that the homeowner calls you to see what's going on and to discuss the lord.

I feel like the biggest fucking idiot in the world. All I could think the whole time was when is this dude getting the fucking outta here. I did tell him at the beginning to give me a second to put the dog up, so I could think, then gone back to the door and said today's not a good day. He said I don't really even need to be home he needs to take the pics regardless. he was wearing a fucking lanyard and nametag thing and foakleys Idk I just assumed he said who he said he was. I didn't get a card or name or nothin. I feel so stupid. So I figured ok he's seen it, I need to be as nice to this guy as possible and have him leaving happy. So I took part and allowed him to preach. But the dude was pretty psycho, he said alot of weird shit. I could tell he's probably had a fucked up life, and he said he just recently got saved and baptized, and he was just 100% all god mode. It was disturbing. Yeah I feel like I'm fucked either way

Ahhh you're probably alright, just so long as the the company insures the home. I'm just giving you a hard time because I'm bored :-) id say him preaching is a sign (from god) that he has no problem with your grow.

Right, hopefully. He didn't seem to, and was telling me all about a huge operation he recently had seen and was pretty specific on size and location...even so I still have to worry about the home owner. Maybe they won't care and I can be less paranoid in the future. Or maybe they do care and I'm fucked in the ass. The lease is just about up too so I guess I'll definitely know something soon.

I've told two people of the incident and both said the same thing, landlord should give 24 hours notice that someone is coming. Or someone should give some kinda notice.


So technically all he knows is the four plants outside. I didn't tell him I have a small indoor goin too. but he did take direct pics of the window with plywood and ducting, so I'm not sure how I can explain that. The plywood has 6 holes total. Four for three a/c's and two 8" holes with ducting coming out and curving down along the wall about two feet.
Perhaps I should buy some welding gear or something and say I do alot of welding and need good ventilation and all growing has strictly been outside? I told one person that and they said that was not a good idea.

As far as I know, the landlord only needs to give a 24 hour notice to enter your private residence. Not the property itself. Insurance companies usually don't give a notice when they're coming because they want to see the property in an unadulterated state. They came to my work last year for a risk assessment and this is what I'm going by.

I own my house and wasn't told they were coming the only reason i found out the insurance company was there is because they told me i needed to trim the bushes off the house. If the guy had a problem with the plants he probably would have told you. The only thing i would worry about is if the ducting and such coming out of the house looks too bootleg they might tell the land lord that its a mold hazzard or something then she might come see whats going on and make sure you arent destroying the house. If she suspects an ILLEGAL grow, she might kick you out but if you explain its legal she would probably rather keep getting paid to do nothing than find a new person to rent to.

I would have taken a picture of him right off the bat and asked for ID.
