If thats the xase why the fuck do u grow such a horrible drug that will make ur kids turn into ass holes like u?? U cant be a grower because ppl that grow dont put that type of stigma on weed. If u ever smoked u would know for urself that theres noting bad about this plant.
The only thing that i have a problem with is the ppl growing this for there own gain in a state that dosent even consider it a medicinal plant. Putting ur kids throw something like that or even endangering ther lives if ur a dealer.

At the end of the day, not all parents will do things the same way. If you feel like your doing the best thing for your kids in the situation that is all that matters.
My parents let me drink when I was younger. Starting at around 13, their friends and family hated it. But they taught me responsible drinking practices. Yea they would let me get wasted, but driving and other things were taken away during that. I was a raging alchohalic senior year of high school. I have not had a drink since the day I graduated high school. Surprising, I don't drink at all now. I got that shit out of my system when I was young, and my parents supervised to make sure nothing bad has happened. I wish my friends that died driving drunk or that have 5 DUI were taught the same thing from their parents. Maybe they'd be alive or not in prison.

Carthoris.. i just think it's inevitable that they are eventually stumbled upon, then what do you say? Your on defense rather than offense: I want to run the show here. They are in an unfinished basement that the kids often rollerblade or play in, especially on hot days.
Societal problems make growing marijuana even in a "legal" state a risky proposition. Drugs are like sex. Responsible adults should be allowed to have it in private without anyone bothering them - they should not involve children.

Your kids play area is a grow room. You can't keep them from being stumbled on in that situation. How are you going to explain it to them? Do you smoke/eat enough to actually consume 2 large tents worth? If not, how will you explain it? "Daddy grows marijuana because he likes it more than pain pills and so he can sell it. Daddy isn't a drug dealer though because it is sort of kind of legal in the state we live in."

We have a problem with the gray area of it. Its taboo. How do you break the taboo without teaching kids the truth about it.
I mean your liable to get your house broke into or killed just for having pain pills. It happens all the time.

Why am I not allowed to own a machine gun then? The government doesn't ALLOW - the president directs the DEA/DOJ to IGNORE state marijuana medical users. A new president could simply shut the entire thing down without any laws or votes and have everyone growing it arrested for federal crimes since it is already illegal. The SCOTUS set the precedent that even personal usage not intended for sale of anything can be declared illegal. This is the same precedent that gun control and the ACA were enacted under.
Much like sex, I don't think children should have any idea that such activity is going on. If they get old enough to understand and you aren't responsible enough or don't have the means/ability to keep it private then you should probably not be growing.

I am MOST DEFINITELY not selling. I have no freaking clue about yield?? Someone said I needed veg and flower tent. 4x4 seemed common. I don't expect to grow much my first times through.
My kids do not help with harvest (I've never had one) or any other part of growing... Other than being aware that it is there.
