I think I'm gonna chop tomorrow.. I just can't keep waiting I got a Durban poison waiting to take its spot and it probably should have gone in the flower room two months ago. Hopefully it's done swelling and I've heard if you chop a little early that's when the trics are at their peak.

Any critical crosses I have experience with is very fast finishers in about 8-9 weeks

Did some of mine at 8 weeks and some could have gone 12. I like the effect of the earlier chop myself. It's advertised for 8 weeks but that's best case scenario.

Where did you "hear" harvesting early, the trichomes would be at peak potency?? That is so rediculous to even begin to believe that. That is just like saying, "I heard if I pick my tomatoes when they are still green, they're at peak ripeness". Come on man.

Ripeness is a bit subjective. Not everyone wants the knockout, do nothing couchlock stone from their buds. A bit earlier gives a headier high sometimes.

I know there are different levels of ripeness. This isn't my first rodeo.
I quoted him because he said that he heard picking early, that the trichs are at their peak, which is very untrue. "Peak" would mean most potent.
