hoping for 225 zips
Yep high plant counts give good yields for sure.yeah I'm going to run 180 plants lol
off of how many Gavita DE?hoping for 225 zips
off six 1k hps hortilux and three 1,150 watt DE'soff of how many Gavita DE?
Nice setup.well at this spot. hopefully I can run like 30 spread out
well from my searching and comparing Nanolux like that graph i showed you if anyone would know which is better overal like i said we all here this and that but Billyboat i believe @ 90,000 watt grow i believe he would be the guy to get the true answers from as he runs a shit load of epaps , Gavita's and Nano's i will see if i can get him in here lolI am buying three DE's I really want to know the facts. which DE is better fuck the price
plasma now place a plasma inbetween 2 gavita;s and look the hell outhey what is this LEP about are gavitas LEP?
yeah see if he will join the convowell from my searching and comparing Nanolux like that graph i showed you if anyone would know which is better overal like i said we all here this and that but Billyboat i believe @ 90,000 watt grow i believe he would be the guy to get the true answers from as he runs a shit load of epaps , Gavita's and Nano's i will see if i can get him in here lol
Been waiting to respond for a while after doing research into tons of different lighting options! WHEW! I like very much what I see with the hortilux super blue 1000w hps mh dual arc bulb. I believe this is the bulb you were referring to that includes vast amounts of blue spectrum compared to traditional HPS. It seems to accomplish this by incorporating HPS & MH "qualities" into one bulb. That's all not so ,,,,, boy, how do I say this?.......Not really in a way......PAR lighting spectrum will case more rapid growth and longer node space. Depending on when used.
The blue or Low End spectrum will give shorter node space and more leaves or "plant mass" and also cause ripening to be FASTER and more complete. This use shortens the flower period by minor amounts.
There are now out (HortiLux I think) 1K bulbs that are including blue and UV spectrum all in a HPS bulb......$127 per last I saw. This opens up some possibilities as I'm tired of my slow ripening HPS......
The green spectrum does nothing for a plant that we know or understand....
Fuller spectrum growing has positive Terp, Trich, and potency effects on our plants..

Very cool! I'm going to check it out! They are probably expensive!nano just came out with a DE fixture that has both HPS and MH
Yup, that's the bulb.Been waiting to respond for a while after doing research into tons of different lighting options! WHEW! I like very much what I see with the hortilux super blue 1000w hps mh dual arc bulb. I believe this bulb may be what I'm looking for. The only downside is apparently these bulbs are not to be used with digital ballasts. Of course I'm currently running digital. Makes no difference. I must do more research into these and other lighting options yet. At first glance I do think this may be a more cost effective and simpler setup than my idea of running DE lighting with rotating/staggered CDM's on adjustable height (pulleys). I'm wondering if my current closed hoods would work with this bulb without having them on pulleys for height adjustment. I'll have higher ceilings in the new setup but and with this bulb producing blue spectrum the added height from canopy I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, is going to keep the plants from "stretching". Basically hoping for multiple, close node sites rather than stretchy, spaced out nodes without adjusting the hoods height. I'll also be doing a perpetual garden. More than likely I'll have to use vented hoods due to location and building features. Those are my main reasons for attempting this without adjusting the hoods height.
I suppose in the end I don't mind spending the money on DE, CDM, LED or any variation of lighting if it makes sense. Above all else I'm trying to accomplish quality & quantity in my garden. Though I'm extremely happy with my results as it stands, I always strive to do better. I'm also the kind of guy that loves to do his research and own testing, however, I'm simply not in the position to do so...yet. I'm fairly new to this. Less than a year now actually growing....though I've sparcely researched cannabis horticulture over the years. Very nervous about switching to a bigger build so I'm trying to squeeze in as much information as I can in the next couple weeks.
....Kinda going off topic perhaps...oops...just hoping to add to the conversation and gain from it also! Love the community guys! I've always learned a lot from RIU.
I always thought "hands" was a bad way to measure horsesLumens is a bad way to measure light for plants.
