Does Hydro yeild more than soil?,,, if so how much

lol, listen to you all.... telling me what i harvested off my own plants, as if you were there just by simply looking at a picture. unbelievable. but hey think what you want. i'm guaranteeing 24oz+ on 4 plants and i'll put it all up on ROI.

are you really telling me you are going to pull a lot higher yeild off 4 plants in a room vs a 4ft x 4ft screen full of 1ft cola's under the same light
I can tell you, I did'nt yeild any where near 20 oz's from the screen and I honesty don't think I could have done much better, it was a bumper crop ,plain and simple
would find it difficult to get the same results again

I grew lots of super lemon haze plants from seed to find the best phoneo, took cutting over 3 crops to find the best plant, was not an easy plant to find very big yeilder, good quailty smoke and short flower.

a few domina plants will never match a well grown scrog, because there too much wased space in the grow room, simple

EDIT: not saying you plants are badly grown, there not and you have done a really good job but there haven't used all the space, like my current grow, I have got 4 well grow plants in flower, a little smaller than yours and I know I will pull 8-10 under the 600w but I am ok with this

You said those were 7 ounce plants , they're not. And yes we can tell from a picture. We grow weed all the time. None of those colas weight 12 grams dry.. I gave you 24 gram colas still didn't hit 14 ounces. This isn't even a growing question anymore it's basic math. You are way off.

I wouldnt of said or posted shit with out alot pix, drying nugs, dried nugs full room shots, numbers on the scales. The whole thing. A big write up on EXACTLY what u did. Yes it does, synthetic feed hydro tends to yield more.. In a side by side of top drip recirculate hydro SOG and Super Soil SOG, There was more weight. I would say roughly 10-20% weight per plant, but differences in smell and appearance, I think soil has a better aroma.. things like chocolate tend to come out better, citrus is more pronounced in hydro. Appearance is different, I saw more purple in GSC, and more trics vs soil.

Now when you say "hydro" there are many versions of it and they could be combined to reduce the yield, and retain some of the characteristics, like higher yield. Take rockwool for example. 100% Rockwool is considered hydroponic. But you can blend 1/4 of your soil with rockwool. And take this with a grain of salt, growdan mixed into soil seems to outperform regular soil.

There are some other "Hybrid" systems out there look at octopots, its a "wick" style system that also uses soil. and has roots at the bottom in solution.

I dont know about taste or smell but ive grown organic style in my past. I do notice that organic soil plants tend to grow more bushy. Iam almost certain it has to do with the forms of nitrogen (ammoniacal, nitrate, slow release, etc.) And the high kelp (cytokinins) thats ina lot of well thought out amended soils.

You post normal sized average plants that you say weight 7 ounces dry. I tell you three at best.. you say no way.lol...let me try this again! These are your plants.in this picture I'm lying and telling you every bud weights 12 grams dry.. (THEY DONT) I'm just giving that to you to show you how stupid your claims are.. I dont use any synthetic forms of feed, when using soil. A natural product that was dried and pulverized is ok like kelp or guano is fine. I'll do a simple kelp foliar for both sides but thats about it.. I'm looking to use tricontinal to my advantage, not so much cytokinins,..ya know a natural PGR. I dont even like to use lime, I'll use eggshells.. stuff like that.
