like i said i dont use ff soil but ph buffering is ph buffering , no mater what u ph ur water to its gonna end in whatever it buffers too... check ur soils ph bbyb420 not the feeding the soil its self... if it is indeed ph buffering it will be around 7 when dry .... not sure how u dont know about ph buffering soil but it is what it is ...ph can be a bitch even more helpfull would be to add 2 teaspoons of dolomite lime to your soil to MAKE SURE it doesnt swing
an
yes bby im sure ur ph is fine becasue it is ph buffering , u phing ur water has nothing to do with it .... id agree with starting at 25% as since ph buffering soil is higher in alkalinity it alows more nutrient absorbtion..... this is me at 4 weeks veg never ph adjusting View attachment 3515052 once
DOPE! quick question. does the ph buffering automatically go to the ph that the soil is set for? is there a way to make it last through the flowering i read in the link i posted dude added a couple tsp of something to the soil per gal.

ph buffering automatically takes the ph to its natural zone....however after soooo many weeks it may have been leeched out of foxfarm soil due to it using a less effective method.... i personally use fertilome Ultimate soil so im not experienced in fox farms ocean forrest but ive read about people adding two teaspoons of dolomite lime to ensure it stays buffering throughout the life of the plant....

Ok sweet. and is this something I would mix in the soil before hand or just sprinkle it on the top when it starts to look like the buffer is starting to go away?

hard to say How big is the entire plant ? how far into flowering? could be root bound , coulf be mag deficiency, could be pests since its outdoors... yellowing could just be from the plant finishing its life ....

I want to say it's about 4 ft tall, 3 gallon bucket, not feeding it anything but regular tap water that i let sit for a few hours to evap. chlorine, and its within a week and a halfish to crop

Ocean Forrest has some oyster shells and it does help for a few weeks . But it's nowhere near enough to last a whole grow. Adding lime will help. But if he doesn't he definitely needs to ph the water going into the soil because the soil wouldn't be stable enough to buffer itself for to long. Yes soil buffering is soil buffering but you gotta ask yourself how long will it do that for me. The answer is not very long at all..ph and feed in two weeks if you're starting from clone. If it's a seed you can get 3 or 4 weeks out of the soil.
