I"m using Miracle Groom at 1/4 strength.. same as foxfarms NPR ratio?

I"ve done the math.

If you use Miracle grow bloom the N P K ratio comes out to about the same N P K ratio on Foxfarms fertilizer.

So far have had very good healty plants.

Sounds like a great idea overall to me... and saves alot of money as Foxfarms is much more expensive than mixing a small bit of fertilizer into one bucket which gives it a light blueish color.

I've used miracle grow bloom in my soil grow with no issues also. I do use calmag plus also.

An issue you might come across would be everything else on the table besides your NPK. Iron, Boron, all the other goodies. You need to consider those as well when you're considering which foods to use. On a side note you can safely use that food in particular at 1/3 strength (1TSP/Gallon).
If you're actively looking for a nice cheap plant food then check out Vigaro All Purpose Liquid Plant Food. It's a basic 10-10-10 food with all your other goodies. The 32oz bottles run around 5-6$. 2TSP/gallon once a week has given me loads of perfectly healthy plants with fat stinky buds. A 32oz bottle will last you a long time as well.

Why will it taste like shit? I used it for years before all the nutrient hype and really never noticed a difference. I Dont use it now due to ethical reasons alone, also stopped using General Hydro for the same reasons.

years ago outside grow taste like the bag of Miracle Grow smelled.. plant looked great tho gave it away...

You can't use off the shelf products to grow cannabis, it requires specialized equipment and products, as well as years of experience. Everybody knows that, sheesh!

I wouldn't compare MG to ff on the best day. Ff is made for what your growing and it's really not all that expensive honestly plus it's made for specifically what your growing ....IMO it will trump mg anyday of the week. After this grow buy some real MJ nutes it's worth it I promise. Good luck

Just the simple fact that it has all the right amounts of food necessary to grow the MJ when you buy a MJ specific nutrient .........so I disagree each to there own though everybody has there own ways of doing things .........but il stick to what works best and I've tried using Home Depot nutes so I'm not saying this with no experience in the matter I just find it much easier for someone new to make mistakes using whatever's cheap instead of buying something formulated for MJ which is still not fool proof but a way better option IMO.
