BonjourParts are:
9-CXB3590 CD 36v 3500k's
9-800ma drivers
3-32" x 3.5" heatsinks
That's one COB per sq/ft and these are the numbers that Supra gave me that convinced me to do this build.
9 CXBs at .8A (26.5W) 62.3% efficient in a 3X3 = 14.9 PAR W/ft² or 740 PPFDaveraged, 90W heat

She works well in tents as long as your scrogging.
Why do you feel it works best with a scrog? Is it just a height issue?
Was talking with Supra tonight and I'm getting ready to build another one of these but I'm going to try a 4.230" heatsink instead of the 3.5". Not sure it will be worth the extra $30 but we'll see.
I'm getting huge numbers from my Z4 cxa3070's at 40% efficiency and 529 PPFD. I looked at the price of the 3590's and actually got them cheaper than my 3070's when I bought them. I also wanted to go passive so I wouldn't have to worry about a fan or fan PSU failure. I was looking at having a more even light distrabution and was thinking one COB per sq/ft. To my amazement the 3590 at 700 too 800 ma fit all my wishlist points and even gave me more PPFD at 740 than the 3070's but also used less electricity. And the Cherry on the top was about 64% efficiency which means this light won't need a upgrade for a very long time I think.
I left out that single drivers means that even if one goes out it won't impact the grow much until I can switch it out and the drivers I'm using are 90-91% efficient.
