65% humidity too high for drying?
I've trimmed the leaves off but I'm hanging the buds with the branches on still. Haven't got to the curing part. Just wondering if theyll do fine drying like that with the humidity that high. You can take buds that are completely dry and put them into 65% humidity and they will grab the moisture up.
It might take you like 2-3 weeks to dry if they even dry under that. I lived by the ocean for a while so the humidity was like 30-50 and I would take out a dusty nugget and toss it on the counter to rejuvinate it lol.
LOL holy smokes. That's quiet a bit of time. I was hoping to be done in 4-5 days. Guess that's not gonna happen. What about mold issues? I'm kinda worried about that.I'm usually in the same situation.
70% humidity, trimmed and still on the branch to dry.
It takes me two weeks, at least, and even then I put them into a large sealed box with a mini dehumidifier to finish drying before curing begins...
The thing is I can't control my humidity level unless I go buy a dehumidifier :/i would shoot for 50-55%. a good dry should take about 5 days.
Should I be worried about mold? Temp reaches 60 at night with 65% humidity.basically just check your buds everyday until the outside feels dry. then start your curing process.
Would it be easier just to turn some fans on and dry them at a fast pace and forget about quality or rather have a slow dry a chance of mold?Concerned about mold..keep a sharp eye out...
Yes I do. Should I turn them on?do you have any fans in your drying room? that could help.
That would be my choice I think ...Would it be easier just to turn some fans on and dry them at a fast pace and forget about quality or rather have a slow dry a chance of mold?
