Hi guys, Cannabis Cult here, this is a test of the new Hydroponics Hut 750 Grow Pro LED!
I'm super excited because my good friend has used Hydroponics Hut LEDs for a long long time and has had amazing results!!! This is the first larger, bigger ,brighter " industrial" model, if you will. So lets get down to business! I'm in Colorado, I'm a medical patient with a 25 plant count for severe rheumatoid arthritis and a brain injury I sustained. This test is going to be in a roughly 5 x 5 space with 10 Diamond Jedi Ogk clones . The clones are in 1 gallon pots of all organic soil I mix myself, and have been under the light for a week today! I topped my plants once already, and my goal is to fill the canopy and try to yield over a pound. I will veg these girls till new year then flower or flower if they fill the space before then! Wow... That is some amazing technology. 700w power consumption with only 600w of available output. Either complete lies or the most inefficient light ever produce. I would highly suggest returning that pile of shit.

Not only that, you can build (3) 200w 56% efficient DIY cob lights for cheaper than the cost of that piece of shit.

If this is an honest grow as far as plant and light usage it will be interesting considering a quality 1K hps would give a lb or more flipping those in just a week vs vegging all the way till new years.

Get the maximum out of this COBs. I think the whole lamp will glow with 3000K

I'm only testing it...real deal live..if it sucks, then it will suck and I'll report that it sucks! But yes Ben owns HH and so far he's treated my friend well and he facilitated this. Running 60watt COBs in a 13in x 34in case is a 2ft x 4ft flower fixture. If you put 20 to24in from canopy the area might go up to 3x4 but intensity would be low. 60watter like to be put 14 to 16in from canopy.

I can not understand why pepes are spacing these COBs as close as they are?
The word is compact shipping ,but would grower wanna pay little more$ for properly spaced?
$1110 is little high for 8square ft china flower fixture.

Since he has treated you like a friend, has he been up front with what this light utilizes for drivers, cobs, and the true wattage and efficiency? Would stand a chance that if Ben is a great guy like you say, he would have informed you of this.

If he did not, and you took the light as a "gift", then I can only assume its overpriced trash (which I already know it is).

You need to put that on a kill- a - watt , run to a local hardware store pick one up for like 5-10 bucks and plug that thing and turn it on then take a picture and post the reading on this forum. Thank you.

The agreement is between Ben and my friend..not me...so I don't know anything about what his cost is...I didn't pay anything...or ask for an led ..I'm trying to be a good guy and help my friend run this test for Ben..that's it...90 % of what I grow is in the sun....

You're testing the light, do your due diligence and fucking test all aspects of it. Don't just report half the info. If a light claims to be one thing, CONFIRM IT.

Otherwise, you're a really shitty tester.

It's all about plug n play ...if it grows the plants like any of your other indoor runs,then it serves it purpose.

I respectfully, wholeheartedly disagree. The purpose of someone testing is to accurately represent all aspects of the light, in an unbiased, third party manner. If you refuse to give full specs and information about the product you're supposed to be testing, it will appear as if you're intentionally leaving out or misrepresenting the data. Asking what the actual draw with a kil-a-watt, especially with the listed discrepancy, is not asking for a lot. These are basic things that every person who would consider purchasing should and would like to know. No one is asking him to take it apart and examine the inner workings.

Without testing the true wattage draw, how do we determine whether the light is worth the cost?

It claims 700w power draw. If it does well, I would expect an output of 1.25g/w or more. So when he yields somewhere around 300g and we are expecting 900g roughly, it will tell us the light blows ass. It is very important to know what the light really draws. And what is it to spend $15 on a kill-a-watt? Any "tester" should have that item as it costs nearly nothing.
