right from the description at random website selling it.....
"FoxFarm's Happy Frog potting soil is a ready to use, nutrient-rich, and fine-screened potting soil. It has a light texture and is well aerated. Happy Frog is pH-adjusted for optimum results and contains beneficial microbes, making it ideal for container plantings."
i underlined the important parts.
WATER ONLY for now... particularly non chlorinated water because it (chlorine) will kill the beneficials in your happy frog soil. the beneficials break things down in the soil to feed your plant. if you kill them, your plant will no longer get fed, and problems will occur....
just tossing this out there, but if you are looking to be an organic grower.... spend some time in the Organics forum, particularly in the ROLS (recycled organic living soil) section. you will learn how to grow a garden cost effectively, KEEP YOUR SOIL, and it will get better with age. these are water only style gardens where you take care of the soil, and the plant LITERALLY grows itself. no worrying about feeding, no worrying about ph.... just add water and watch it go. yes you will see tips and tricks, but the guys who have it mastered, just use water! there are soil recipes, tea recipes, everything you need to know.
