Pollen Boxes. Are they worth the money?

Wassup Y'all? I have a grinder with my kief catcher and i'm always having to use a tooth brush to clean the screen of all the plant material as well as trichomes. Will the same thing happen in those pollen boxes? are they easy or complicated to clean.

depends on the micron...as for your grinder, take a clean nickle and lay it on your screen..as the nickle moves around when you use it it cleans your screen

Nifty idea, but doesn't the nickel get totally covered?

nope, stays pretty clean if you tap it after you take your weed out

I have an O'Keif tumbler. I prefer to look and style of the nice manual hand operated screens but the tumbler works well.
You have to put quite a lot of trim through it to really get anything back but it's nice to have a good heap of keif.
Now if you were tumbling buds....you could probably get a load fairly quickly. Kind of defeats the object of growing nice buds though

Depends how much you got to make. Dry ice with material in a ice olator bag works wonders too.

Yeah i've wanted to get one for a while, but my best friend said it sucks and drys out his nugs. Then again I think he stored them in there rather than a glass jar.

Just for personal use and not trim. If I start growing more then i'll get the ice bags

Yea definitely not made for storing. But rolled around nugs and trim will drop pollen for sure. Tell your friend to get a C Vault for storing.
