That is the correct attitude to have !!!! so many times we see new members come on here and pose a question but as soon as someone with prior experience give them constructive criticism they get offended. What has been the key to my progression in this field is staying open to new advice and understanding that you wont get it 100% right the 1st time, or maybe even the 2nd or 3rd.@sunni I did not take it as rude, lol. I felt very much like an amateur when I saw the lights melting. Yes, I am young and yes this is my first setup but I am committed.
White posterboard sold at Walmart. I've seen reflective tests and for reasons I don't understand, flat white seems to reflect more than mirror finishes.Ok so I built some reflectors out of aluminum foil. I read somewhere about the reflections might cause burn spots on the leaves? Is there anything out there I could buy (Other than a grow tent) that is reflective and will attach the walls behind my setup?
Lol thats crazy but I am just desperate enough to try it. Im guessing the side that is glossier?White posterboard sold at Walmart. I've seen reflective tests and for reasons I don't understand, flat white seems to reflect more than mirror finishes.
You'll have to buy a $20 Dr. Meter (Lux Meter) on Amazon to find out. Welcome to the hobby. (But, be sure you don't get caught if you're not legal.).Lol thats crazy but I am just desperate enough to try it. Im guessing the side that is glossier?
Yea I might do that starting Wednesday when my light timer comes in.You'll have to buy a $20 Dr. Meter (Lux Meter) on Amazon to find out. Welcome to the hobby. (But, be sure you don't get caught if you're not legal.).
If I were you, I would flip to 12/12 any day now and get through this grow quickly. It will stretch quite a bit when you flip. You might get 20-30g. If you let it veg for any period of time you're going to have odor problems, need more lights (you will anyway, but many more lights). Get through it, take what you've learned and plan for your next one.
can tell u right now that is way to wet for a seedling that may be one of your issuesI am new to growing and everything has been going great up until the past week. She hasn't made any progress and won't keep growing. I was wanting to know if this is just a normal thing to happen. I haven't been overwatering, she is getting enough nutrients from some miracle-grow, and now I just need someone to examine her.
Well actually I just got three Cree Led a21's in today and a light timer. So I am going to see what happens. I can't bring myself to give up on it yet. I do have two new plants going though now. Will post pictures later tonight.Ya bro Id cull that weak fucking thing and wait till you get outta mommas house or wherever the fuck you are. THe amount of money you are spending on crap lighting and shit that barely even works when you could just save up and get some big boy toys on your weekly allowance budget..
Total drug abuse if Ive ever seen it.
Not trying to come off rude..but its a waste of time..
Do outdoor for your first time..atleast lighting is taken care of lol.
Well gl with whatever you do bro. As someone said you have the right attitude..but need the right setup , gear and space..Well actually I just got three Cree Led a21's in today and a light timer. I don't know about the quality between GG and LH. I like how they have an extension kit. That might come in handy if you use it in a different location. But thats an issue I feel will be taken care of with the tent. The price difference between the LH and the GG is only $50 for the lite version that I was looking at. Do you think the $50 is worth it in quality?
