root rot? help please

Hey guys, im growing in soil foxfarm ocean and at first i tought it was phosphorus def so i flushed it with a complete nute mix 1/4 strenght but i think im over watering? Im using dyna gro nute and i just bought some hydroguard but i have no idea how to use it, it dosent say. This is my second grow. My temp is 75 and my humidity is 60 im using a 3 gallon smart pot and the other pot is the same but plastic

Don't think it's root rot... Looks like the plant is getting too much or not enough of something... water amount is probably fine. When a plant starts getting yellow leaves from bottom up look out you may have a problem. Make sure pots are draining well... Maybe make bigger holes in the bottom of the pots.....

Doubt its root rot,plant looks basically healthy.make sure the top of the soil is dry before you water...get a feel for how heavy the pot is after watering.Pickup your pot..you can tell when it needs water.And like FP said make sure you have good pot drainage and water for a little bit of runoff.

Ive been very carefull about not watering if it dosent need it, i usually poke with my finger to feel the dirt and make sure its dry, im going to make extra holes on the plastic pot but the other pot is a smart pot

What can i do about it?[/QUOT. Stop feeding completely, get yourself some calmag, epson salt and molasses and apply 1 spoon of each one in a gallon, repeat that until u see improvement. Then start feeding again at 1/4 strength alternate with plain water between feeding with Epson salt, calmag, and molasses. GL

I agree and i think its a ph error.
