I simply don't agree - with all due respect! ORGANIC soil runs will beat synthetics and destroy hydro synthetic runs!!!

You can see it in the terp profiles on testing reports......ORGANICS has the highest terp profiles - period, hands down, the end.

Bet I've grown longer then you've been alive! We clashed on this before.

Not every book or tutorial says to...Nor does every "guru". MOST online "tutorials" are made by nobodies with a need to show off.

Open the mind and figure out that your magazine hero's are wrong as much as they are right.....Jorge Cervantes has some points and, has his head up his ass on others. Look at things like that like this. You write a book and later it's PROVEN that something you said in the book to do....is wrong! Are you going to go public in any way and say "Oh, I was was wrong on XY&Z" ? Bet you wouldn't or half the folks thinking your a "god" on the topic will now revile you as a hack and your book sales will drop to nothing. Your main source of income is now gone and you have to go back to actual work to make a living....

There are many who have simply dropped the whole subject.......in any public way...Others simply follow an old hippie myth thought up on a hill while stoned on weed dried in 3 days (most likely hung upside down in a dusty, bug infested barn) and trying to figure out how to make it taste and burn better while your hacking a lung out...

The actual science says it all Bones.....how about you read up on that!!

I have tried it both by flushing and not flushing. Youre just used to ur throat burning.

I like the way that was stated. I was stating my experience and opinion if that was not clear by my post, just what I notice from my grows over the years.

I really don't have that problem.
I feel you didn't do it long enough. Something went wrong......It' takes me over 5 weeks to dry and cure properly.

Sadly many don't have that patience.

Well, do what makes you happy Bone....

Flushing is for toilets... for one you get the most bud expansion the last two weeks of flowering so what you're going to starve your plants for the final two weeks..lose potential bud growth .
8 to 10 days drying at 55% RH with 2 to 4 weeks cure in a jar with a boveda 63 pack . Smoke is as smooth as ice water on a hot summer day .

Doesn't help that so many YouTubers do it, even cash croppers. Why do guys like medicropper1 who clearly invest a ton of money use a practice that makes no scientific sense? I guess you save a ton of nutes lol, but at what cost? IDK, it's a very interesting topic to me, like religion. No one can prove it, but everyone believes it anyways....

Thanks as I intended to not come across as "saying" you were wrong.

I actually went back and reread your post......Interesting view really....I might have to have some of my employees set up a blind for me from some of mine vs some of theirs (same strains, different styles) to see what I can taste......Keeping the mind from 'trying" to find a difference is the real trick...I'm wondering about that "earthy" taste you've found.

People say there's no science behind organic nutrient sources affecting taste too. But, I've noticed the difference.

It could be he feeds heavy and the pre-harvest flush is just so the plant isn't sitting in salty soil at the end, reaching the end of life.
