just trying to get a better understanding on things ...i was looking for mj garden saver boom but was sold out...That book by Greg Green is a little outdated and chocked full of non accurate (in little ways) info but it is a real tool for beginner growers. For the most part it is a good read and will guide you along the way. The main drawback with basic marijuana "grow books" is that now the information, technology, and advances in equipment is at lightning speed and is far surpassing the ability of gardening authors and thier publishers producing a book that can keep up. But all of them (and ive read most of em) are really good at steering a noob grower along the path.

greta the one i just 30 bucks and the cover got bent throwing it on my bed so can't return ..has some helpful things so far that i read ..I strongly recommend Teaming With Microbes. It will help you understand soil growing and the importance of a healthy soil. I don't go all the way to full, composted organic. But, the principles are useful to know. I found a PDF online. It's an image, not searchable text. Buying the book would be easier for ongoing reference.
Someone posted a link to Grower's Bible here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/the-full-cannabis-grow-bible-in-pdf.11051/page-2#post-8695801

Yes i agree 100%. A completely new book with all the latest in gear and advanced techniques for more seasoned growers. All the way. There really hasnt ever been a book like this put out.....ever. I reqd most of them and although really good for noobs to get the basics down the books out there are always outdated. And say the same old shit. Once you got growing down the books collect dust. Maybe for recerence but thats about it. The publishers arw going to have to come out with something very advanced and soon. Double ended lighting and the latest in LED is up and coming. Once really good LED's like the Spyder 1200 become affordable i think hps indoor lamps will be history. Supplemental at best.Even if the tech and technique is outpacing writers, it is still high time for an updated book. Not only for basics, but also some more intermediate and advanced stuff...
