I feel you, not a dad myself but my girlfriend likes to leave house lights on lol. Yes i was toying with the idea of replacing all my house bulbs to 15 watt cfls rather then incandescent 100 watts, should save me a packet.

Do it. I noticed the improvement on my bill straightaway.

Ahh. Well.. Bugger. Ill have to use it now, i wasnt going to give any nutes during veg. I have some bloom booster, (blue crytaline powder not sure what it is exactly but my friend told me to just add a pinch to water every other water during flower) its my first grow im supposed to make mistakes rite? Lol ill steer clear of peat based next time. Im not ph testing anything this time around ill save the advanced chemistry for my next attempt. If i get mg deff what will it manifest as and how would i go about treating it? Would a simple veg nute take care of that?

I rang him and turns out i wasnt listening properly lol it is indeed miracle gro he was going to get some bloom boost but his friend gave him that saying its ok for flower, and he was using it during flower on his last grow.
Im guessing his buds should have been bigger.

That stuff contains like 24 nitrogen or summit lmao good for veg but very little, I wouldn't recommend in flower.

It's makes mj spazing out I tried it once on my plants and they grew alrite into tooth pick stems lmao get something with single digits npk they do well.

When I worked in a chemical company I'm not sure if it was that mg he made, but a friend of mine who I got a lift with to York was nearly allways coverdale in blue or red colour making them things, he hated it lmao.

I will not be using the miracle gro, even now during veg, my soil came with enough nutes for this period i feel. Ill get some tomato feed for the flower period this time and may get some cannabis flowering specific nutes for my next time round.

If you have a fiver or tenner to spare get your self to a grow shop you can get good nutes for a fiver or tenner

Your soil should be rich enuff mate, you right there

My mates father inlaw grows and he allways used tomato feed with sea weed never told us the brand lol but that's all he uses for ten years and has nice dense buds.

Cfl you can put em close but try abd gean oscillation fan it will help fatten stem and cupping of the leafs closest to the light

Sad times, just chopped down and binned 20 pineapple chunk plants, on xmas eve of all days lol...

Grown & vegged them for a mate but afew people got busted near him so hes too para at moment to grow...felt criminal just to bin them...never mind, these things happen.

I think tomorite has seaweed in it. I do have a large fan on low while the lights are on

Let's say you put a 600 watt hps in a small room for flowering could it make your plants finish early?!!!!

Like too intense light makes it finish early

cfl light is good for about 0.3048meters
the danger zone (to hot) is with in 6.35 cms
u need to account for the growth the plant is going to do so at least 15cms from the light to the top of the plant

How bigs the room mate?

I got a 600w hps in a 1m x 1m room and if anything the strain flowered longer than usual..

Now the plants under the led shite light seem to finish 1-2 weeks earlier...shit yield but they do finish
