In order to be able to SAVE that much you must be figuring that you were going to need at least 100 spydr 1200's but realistically probably more like 160 since I'm sure an order of that size wld qualify you for a significant discount & even then you wld have to be able to build them yourself for almost nothing in order to save that amount of $$$.... Or am I missing sum thing????
I have the spydr 600 myself & I absolutely love it!
Hey I'm in the market for the new spydr x. What are the average yields you get from one of these? Also what are you using soil/hydro? Any information would be most helpful

I'm on my first grow with the spydr600, I use FFOF soil, 20%perlite, in 5gal smart pots.
I am using the spydr in veg & in flower on this grow & next grow I'm going to veg with my CMHD light & use the spydr for flower and that way I'll be able to compare the 2.

This is just knowledge that I've learned about LEDs. Anything with that blurple color to it is very outdated. All white LEDs and mixed white and red are better and usually have accurate par readings from what the manufactures state, unlike the purple looking ones. I don't know exactly how to explain this but I've heard this from several good reputable members.

That last picture of the bud looked over ripe too. Just my opinion but I'm no expert by any means. It also doesn't look very dense compares to the bus grown by the lighting I'm talking about.

I'm going to be adding some different lights & playing with different combos. That's the great thing about Nick (owner of BML ), he will gladly build you any spectrum light combo that you want. You can go to there website & mix & match different Color combos & see the different par levels.
This company is in Austin Texas & they don't use cheap anything out of China like some other companies....good luck

Looks fantastic, overall are you happy with what results you have gotten so far?
Yes, I'm very happy so far & I plan on having Nick build me some more lights to supplement the six that I have after this next grow. I would call & speak with him before making a decision.

I think part of the reason is, it seems to be a matter of finding the correct emitters. Most of the brands like Go Green, Johnson, Heaven Bright, seem to all use some variant of the Vero or COB emitters. Then it's jsut a matter of which one do you want, and how much do you want to spend.

I'm probably missing a few things, but that's my takeaway. Personally, I poorly researched and went with a KindLED L500. Mostly because GrowersHouse testing showed it to be a pretty good light compared to the others they sold. So that's what I got. Then I read about folks who have emitters die on them after 11 months, or shorter periods of time. I've had mine for about 6 months. So far, I like it, but I'm pretty sure that there are much better light systems out there. Personally, I've got my eye on the HeavenBright Mothership with the Crees.
So you're saying those are the brands with the most quality which produces the best harvest? I'm spending some serious coin on LED's soon to try them and I DO NOT want to buy some bullshit and try to take it back. It seems like every brand i look at though theres 5 good things 5 bad things....

I'm trying to grow like 24 plants veg then flower and get at least 6 pounds. So waht lights would YOU use...

Merry XMas![/QUOTE left a message on the 23rd but no one called me back. They must have early paid holidays. Soon as they swap over their name I will place my order. Merry Christmas to you also.

The plant still has 2wks to go actually, but thanks for taking the time to look at my earlier pics....
Here are some pics of the trich's & as you can see they are clear w no signs of amber.

The only reason I thought that was the tops were starting to deform from nice round comes.. Idk muh but that's when the strains I've used are over ripe. Maybe just the strain you have. How's your temps?

Is this light even out yet? I'd imagine it will be next to impossible to find answers until it's been out for a few months.
