Wow, almost 2 hours and nobody has bothered to tell you that any final "flush" is a myth!

Well, it is!

The only thing "Flawless Finish" will flush,,,is money from your wallet!

Proper long dry and cure !!!
Master Growers are recommending it.some of these guys have many grows under there belts?

That plant is a few weeks from finish by the looks of it. If you're going to flush I wouldn't start it now.
Yes it will be an early harvest, all Trichs are crystal clear and red hairs are barely starting to show.its my 2nd grow and the guy who I got the Blue Dream clones from is the one who said chop @ day 63.This guy again has many grows of this strain under his belt? They say in DWC to do a final flush every grow @ the last 10 days to push them babies to the max?

I guess I don't really understand what flushing in a rdwc system would accomplish. I can understand from a soil/heavy medium perspective, realizing that nutrients build up in the soil over time and flushing is really activating the dried up nutrients, which in effect is really feeding till the end. I don't understand how depriving a plant of food in it's last stage of flowering could be beneficial.

These "Master" growers have their heads up their ass....Harvesting early is simply a waste of your time and your money......
Your quality as in yield and potency are going to be crap.
Cloudy trichs kid - cloudy trichs! you NEVER chop at any "given" day # !!!! It just don't work that way son!
I don't care how many grows this BOZO has under his belt.

I put my first seed to soil in 1973.....I'll bet I've done this for decades longer then your master of many grows....He's wrong..

Flushing does not "push" a plant - it takes the nutrition AWAY from the plant...

All publishing a book does is make you a writer.....
Jorge, Danny Danko, The Rev, and anyone who says to flush are Wrong !!
There is NO scientific fact to support flushing as improving flavor or the burnability!
Nothing is "leeched" from the plant by using plain water or a flushing agent! This is actual plant science/horticultural FACT!
NOTHING consumed by humans or animals gets "flushed" - Why cannabis?

You are only removing nutrition from one of the most critical times of the plants growth cycle - The Bulking phase!

If I sounded harsh - sorry. Just trying to get you to understand..

I grow in dirt and flush a couple times during flower. Between week 2-4 and between week 6-8. Do this to get maximum oxygen to the roots. Don't see much difference but the plants respond well to it I will then flush three times right before harvest. I have noticed a lot less nose burn a lot sooner in the cure by doing this. I have done it both ways flush no flush. not seen really much return on size but have witnessed a faster cure.

Everybody's got their opinion,do you grow in soil, coco,DWC?

You're not close to harvest. So even if you are a flusher, it wouldn't be now. Like they've said above, You don't ever want clear trichs.

Flushing is, if anything, for salt build-up in your medium not your plant. Which I seriously doubt that you have

I have done them all son , and it's not opinion, it's scientific FACT! How about you read up on actual horticulture - NOT so called "cannabis growing guru's",,,,,BTW - Ed Rosenthal (one of the very, very few with any actual schooling on growing. Does NOT say to "flush" in his book(s)!!
I have for the last few years gone back to 100% organic water only soil grows...Organic is where I started 42 years ago. I can do great things with synthetics and DWC was my favorite test method for different brands of synthetics.....I found synthetics to be time consuming and costly! For the time and money spent, Organics win hands down.....I water and I walk away - no mixing, adjusting or testing!

I can just about match any synthetic yield with FAR superior flavor!
The last run was Blue Dream (HSO) and my yield was an average of 10.4 zips per plant (4) in 5 gallon pots. With a 2 soil up potting organic method.. Under a 1K HID......The rest of the op is staggered or perpetual harvest of different strains each under 1K's in a stand alone building 8K of bloom and 4K of Veg. Complete closed system.

Right on I hear what your saying but when your puffing away & shits poppin & it's not seeds then it's excess Nutes that ur burning.ive been smoking for 40 years & that's a tell tale sign that the bud was never rinsed during the grow.im not questioning your growing experience with MJ.id read up on the Trichs getting around 20% cloudy & your pistols are turning orange then it's time to chop & that was my plan the whole grow. The clones I got are Blue Dream & it's grown on a semi commercial level for a dispensary so I was told by the grower to chop @ day 63 & go Canna on the next go round.the buds feel dense from the Kolas to the below the canopy shit.So it feels good knowing I'm harvesting these gals in 8 days.I want to grow a 100% Indica strain.Whats your opinion on Kool Bloom Dry?

Your right about the Trichs and salt build ups from fertilizers.

I know personally the dispensary I frequent that mgmnt has told a few so -called vendors to start flushing their product because of the amount of complaints the dispensary was getting.so flushing or leeching during your grow can't be a myth or bullshit?

Do you prefer growing DWC or in Coco?& what Nutes do you use.I use Gen Hydro but this next grow I'm thinking of going Canna or Dutch-Pro?

Dr Who although i agree with you on the flushing myth ,, for the life of me never understood why people will starve there plants at the most crucial time of flowering phase.
Last 2 weeks,,
Personally I think Ed came into the picture at the right time , to make a book , Although i have no respect for him, He is a bum .. And for selling himself out , But that is another story lol.

Personally i think both methods of nutes have there plus and minus, Sure i a person gets stuck into hydro store chemical nute line it can be costly, but also there are alternatives as in salts based chem nutes that are rather really cheap .. but that comes with experience and time
When it comes to comparing organic vs chem or what ever there is no contest Chem nutes being chelated immediate food for a plant is a win every time .. Really there is no comparison being truth full stick a 2 " rooted clone in organic soil ,, and another in coco or undecurrent DWC chem fed veg 2 weeks and flip which plant will be bigger and yield more ???

I find the flavor myth to be just that , its all strain related as in canobinoids , and terps got nothing to do with mediums , its that fake sense people get, cause it was grown in chemical nutes its going to taste like chems ,,
Could be the same as, organic bud was grown n horse shit,, So it tastes like horse shit Right ????

So with all that said organics has its perks , as in once you have a decent soil recipe, its water only, and can be much easier but most of the time recipes, fall short hence top dressing , and teas ,, adding amendments blindly not knowing actual or having soil tests done to determine exactly what soil has ,,, There is a fine line with organics sometimes to much of P or K can cause just as much damage right let alone trace mineral content ..

With chemical a person can fine tune there feeding schedule run a tighter ship hence eventual savings in chem nutes ,, but again needs to run a broad spectrum from ph , EC , you name it
But again to each there own ..
with the new tree hugger go organic craze out there does not by any means going to take over actual agricultural industry , NEVER

Dr you failed to mention how long you vegged for to get that 10 zips organically would love to see a picture if you have one must of looked bitching
Happy new year

4th week and flipped undercurrent chem fed 20 oz plants gallery_11738_4816_87674.jpg gallery_11738_4816_297449.jpg gallery_11738_4816_339701.jpg
