How often do you water? Do you give it a good watering with runoff and then leave it alone until the container becomes very dry?

If you keep the soil too wet you'll prevent it from reaching higher ph levels where certain nutrients (like moly) are available.

No overwatering, always wait till dry. Check Ph run off evel at 6.3

What soil and food do you use? (Maybe it's not balanced?). Do you have a ppm or EC meter to measure the TDS or conductivity of your water, and nutrient solution (and runoff)? That would be useful info to rule some things out.

The soil and food i've used for many years with no problem at all,Just last 2 times whixh i have lots ot fungus gnat that i've never seen before.don't know if fungus gnat cause nutrient locked out.i have ppm meter to check in and out of water..

Gnats can cause root damage which will look like root rot. Maybe that's what's happening. Especially since you believe your soil/nutes are dialed in?

I control gnats by laying a piece of posterboard over the top of the container. I cut a round piece, and a slot to the center. I make two and lay them over the container in a way to cover each other's slots. Then all I have to deal with is the drain holes. I spray some pyrethium or an organic rosemary/peppermint/clove mixture around the drain holes. It irritates the gnats and they stay away. (Some people put their containers in panty hose to cover the drain holes.).

I bet that's it. (EDIT: Unless you're using a new bag of soil. Maybe you got a bad bag and it really does have a moly problem. Moly def seems unusual/rare if you're not overwatering.).

Just the leaf damage looks a lot like the damage thrips do when they lay their eggs in the leaf

but could be gants, I`d look for algae if you find a lot of algae then it`s gnats and that`s probably where their coming from

if not dig around in the soil and see if you see any thrips in there

I just know when they look like that you should spray and treat everything for thrips better safe then sorry in my experience

I see thrips in the bottom of soil pot. But do thrips seriously harm like that. Also i have fungus gnat as well. Do thrips cause nutrient defiency? Thanks

Thrips 1st off will drink the water and the nutes so when there`s lots of them the plants can seem to be drinking more

Thrips travel up the plant and fuck up all the leaf

Thrips can end up inside the buds and you`ll never stop them once they get inside the flowers

Thrips also live in the soil and eat the core of the stem starting with a small hole working their way up the plant, they can much the inside of the main stem till its hollow and it snaps and your plant dies, thrips are little cunts....

Thanks alot, i see alot of thirps. Plants grow great untill week 4 of flowering, leaves start to burn and plant not eat as much as before, bud stop developed. My third grow still get same problem, i check Ph,Ppm , ect... I don't know thrips cause this or what. I have used my feeding nut for many years, so i don't think is defiency. Do thrips eat roots and damage leaves like burned.. Thanks alot

if there were a lot of thrips you'd be able to see damage on the leaves. they leave shiny looking lines on rhe leaves. not to mention they can fly and travel between plants quite easily.

personally I saw no signs of thrips. I'm leaning more towards over/under watering. you say you let it get dry before watering, how dry?
