I think I definitely go diy cob at tax time.day 11 flower,,
We have very humid falls around here. Defoliating is almost a must to keep pm and rot down for outdoors.oh about a week ago a friend of mine got some powdery mildew on his plants and he sent me some pictures, we both live in Oregon where its be record setting wet/ rain the past couple of weeks, tough to keep our humidity down , i am managing to get it around 45 percent in the box ,
So I looked around carefully and I found 2 leafs down low with very early white spots , so i decided to do some major lollipopping as you can see in the picture, this will cut way way down on the popcorn buds, and also increase ventilation in the canopy big time, I also installed a lower 110 volt pc fan blowing up thru the canopy, i also sprayed with a home made mixture of baking soda and oil / soap , supposed to prevent powdery mildew from forming due to Ph change on the leaf,,,,
I see no powder mildew, i see no mold right now,, but here is a picture of the lollipoppin
Stretch is over, this sunday is week 4 completed of 12 12 lighting, led cobs are 8 inches above some of the cola's, plants are pretty tall for my box, i ran out of room to raise the light, but the stretch ended just right , they are really building frost , frost is even building out on some of the fan leafs,, pretty cool,, ill post some pictures sunday night and I will take a plant height measurement at that time also, the vent out the window is working perfect, we had a house full of christmas guests and nobody suspected a thing, true stealthHow's the stretching coming along Tim? Has it come to a hault yet?
your right brother, the baking soda spray put a stop to it, the leafs look so very healthy compared to previous growsI once had powdrey mildew and baking soda did the trick in a jiffy. Nice lollipopping btw.
Looking Great!! Can't wait to see the end result5 weeks 12 12 ,
Thanks Bro, I wish the camera would show just how much snow is on thos buds,, i might try a pic after lights out, those cobs with thier yellow spectrum dont show the colors exactly right,, but its been a long time since i have seen this type of frost on the leafs,, going all the way out to the edge,,,Nice Timmy !
They are really throwin the frost !
