Last year i decided to try growing this plant, mostly because of the claims about huge potency and THC levels from the Original sensible webpage (http://original-ssc.com/black-destroyer-original-sensible.html).
I was growing it outdoors in my back yard in a 50 liter pot filled with humus that i make myself from the garden leftovers , and with some guano and natural fertilizers added. The seed was started directly from the soil, and showed some insane vigor from the start - and since it was growing like crazy, i started topping very early. plant reacted by branching like crazy and i got myself a nice bush with beautiful dark green leafs. After some playing with fertilizers i noticed that the plant is quite sensitive to high nitrogen levels, plus it's prone to spider mites, but that's something you can handle without any problems. Once it starts flowering stretch is noticeable but not extreme - and now the important part, this plant is EXTREMELY smelly, i mean you can easily sense it from like 40-50m away, completely insane, so you should watch out because it's hard to be stealth if the plant smells like a bio-bomb Flowers are dense from the start and just become denser and denser, with a lot of sticky trichomes reaching all the way to the tips of the leafs. Unfortunately i had a mayor accident, there was a unsuspected storm while I was away from home, and the weight of water soaked buds was just enough to split my plant in half - huge damage! I succeeded in putting the plant back in one peace, but the accident lowered the plant's defenses, slowed down the flowering, and brought me a lot of mold problems (the weather became awful and last 3 weeks of flowering was non stop rain). But either way I managed to harvest a decent amount of buds, around 350g dried, and after test smoke i must say this is the strongest weed i ever had. It is literally a ''destroyer'', inexperienced smokers are on the floor after just a couple of smokes! But it's not completely couch locking, it has some nice ''high'' kick to it, so the smoke is first class! Definitely recommend this plant, can't wait for the next season to try it again!
