SO iv took every1 advice and i want to thank all you guys for helping a newbie so yea ive waterd just plain water and catched the run of and my ppm of the run off is 1600 :( 5-6 in to veg so im over feeding am i right? and my problem is probs toxsity ? so i shud keep watering plain water for a week or 2?? thanks again guys you really dont no how much my plants mean to me i love growing and i just want to be good at it iv just joined this site a few days ago now im a member for life lol :)
Oh my, yes, 1600 is too high. Now that means you should probably do a decent flush on them and keep monitoring the runoff for a while to come. Theres two reasons i know of for salt build up in the soil. One is the obvious, over feeding, the other is having your plants sitting in the runoff. If your feeding hard and the plants are in drip trays, the runoff with the leached out fertilizer in it can be reabsorbed by the dirt if the pot is sitting in runoff. And when the runoff gets reabsorbed, so does the fertilizer. So i would elevate my containers out of the drip catchers with pieces of wood. Water evaporates eventually and fertilizer dries to the drip catcher.

Great advice to a new grower!
This is what it's all about....
Great contributions from all of you guys!
Follow what these guys tell you and you won't go wrong! It's all about keeping it simple and just letting the plant do its thing with just a LITTLE bit of help.
We as new growers tend to give the girls too much love, then we learn through our mistakes, and after we figure out how simple it is, then we grow! My mentor taught me the KISS method (keep it simple stupid) and as long as you don't overcomplicate it and just let her grow and feed her when it needs feeding and water her when she needs water you'll be good. Watch your plant she will tell you when she needs food (it will go lighter green) she will droop when she wants water. The leaves will burn at the tips when you feed too much or go very dark green. If yer in soil you shouldn't have any ph issues at all, I'm glad you got out of the coco it's too complicated for a new grower, soil is perfect for a new grower.
Good luck luck you and remember KISS and you will have a great grow

hardest part of indoor growing is getting ur room dialed in .... keep an eye on temps and make the necessary mods..... i cant stress enough about the difference between 85 degrees and 73 degrees.....

yeah iv got a thermostatic exstracter fans x2 intake n out so my temps r fine and humidity is good aswell with the fans turning on and off its between 50/60 in veg and ill lower the temp a bit in flower so the fans will be on a bit more also lowering the humidity aswell as the heat
