Planting pots use materials known to be safe to grow plants in. Mop buckets, do not. If you want to go cheap, get plastic grow bags for like 30 cents.

You were applying to be a tester, it wasn't a free seed comp. there's a difference. As a tester, your setup would not impress most of the breeders I work with. If they were just giving away seeds for the fuck of it, you'd have seeds right now. But as they were looking for testers, you did not get chosen. And you stated that they posted explaining why right?

Anyways, you didn't follow the rules. Where is the documented grow? Do you have a grow documented from start to finish with pics taken once a week and in natural light? If not, you didn't follow the rules.

Link the grow you used. It doesn't matter if you were banned the grow will still be there.

Yes it was due to them having more notice than they thought they would and so they chose the best 10 instead of the first 10 and that those not chosen now will have other opportunities.

Actually it wasn't "upfront" they chose to keep it in pms since they knew it was against the sites rules to post about pms. They didn't say why publicly until I had posted their pms. Either way though they shouldn't have gone against their original post.

And they also stated "very experienced growers" which, I'm sorry, but you're not. Get a dozen or so more runs in you, clean up your setup, don't chop early, take better pictures. They were being extremely nice telling you you met all of their criteria when one of the most important aspects, you are clearly lacking.

They picked someone else and told you to try again in the future. There is nothing dishonest about what they did in this situation.

Again, I'm not trying to be a dick, and I'm sure your grows and techniques will improve, but I work with 7 seed banks and not a single one would use your setup to show off their gear. It's just not pretty. Most other breeders would not have been as nice telling you why they didn't pick your setup.
