How about putting in list form.
- Cruz would block any increase in minimum wage. If we are going to set a wage floor, shouldn't we set it at a level where people who work full time can feed, clothe and house themselves, much less their kids? Counter to right wing mythology, moderately increasing minimum wages do not increase unemployment or cause havoc in businesses that currently abuse our present system.
- Reducing or eliminating tarriffs, will help some industries and hurt others. However, any cuts in revenue have to balanced somehow, either with a tax increase or a spending cut. Republicans love tax cuts but increase spending. So, no to this without more details.
- Do you expect the kindness of the Chinese when we cut tarriffs on steel, for example, without an agreement from them beforehand? That's a bit naive.
