Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

So I had a cob burn out due to improper mounting. Got a little carried away with the replacement. Wanted to see if I could cool this with the heatsink I had.

none are running over 20 watts ATM.
It's really bright though. You can barely see the light my blurple light puts out lol.

I'm curious what the mistake was, specifically. Kinda makes me nervous
The plants look great btw

@kmog33 sucks about the cob, but you came back well, looks great in there!
Thanks bass. Was waiting on a bigger build so I had the brand new cobs sitting around. Doing some spectrum experimentation figure they're more likely to mix close together. Plus, just means I can buy better cobs for my bigger build lol. I do have some of the 90 cri cxbs in there right now. The spectrum was too tempting.

I have several different cobs here, so I will never know which is responsible or not for the outcome from my grows.
I am interested in seeing how high CRI compares to 80 and or 70 cri grows

Well I now have them more or less clustered and have
3 X 80cri 3000k crees
2 X 93cri 3000k Crees and
4x 80 cri 4000k veros. I'm hoping the spectrums mix the way I have it arranged.

Wow that is a very thick base (man...lol)...almost 2 time mine...5mm!
So I guess one of those could run a cxb3590 @1400mA passively or 3 with a fan!

here is my new cxb 3590 lights in a 4 by 4 cabinet.the plants are gg 4.10 inch hs usa profile cut to 5 inch driven by 1 50 watt ebay driver each.8 cxbs View attachment 3603661
Nice pic! I notice the legacy HID sockets hanging on the side. After discovering DIY COBing, my HID fixtures are now gathering dust as well. So please clarify a few details of your build. So you have 5” pieces of the 4.9” HSUSA heatsink, with a CXB3590 on each one driven at 50 watts. I am assuming you have a fan on each one? A picture of the top would really help. I like to see how other guys put their light bars together. Also, as a side question, please explain your watering scheme. Thanks.
