No new growth

I don't know about the quality between GG and LH. I like how they have an extension kit. That might come in handy if you use it in a different location.

Odor, you'll need a fan (4" is probably enough) and a Phresh carbon filter sized for that tent. You'll need a speed control. The cheap $20 controls are noisy. They create a buzz in the fan motor. $60 for a variac on Amazon will be a nice, long-term investment in a quiet environment. Or, buy the Phresh Hyper fan with the builtin speed controller.

I like to use a 1qt jar of Ona Gel as a backup for odor control. I just unscrew the cap when the tent is open, or if someone is coming in the house. It neutralizes anything that might linger in the air. You top it off with distilled water when it evaporates. Eventually you need to add some Ona concentrate. Don't keep it uncapped too close to your grow area (for too long). It will impart a taste to the buds.
Yea I don't see the fan as necessary for at least another month until I start flowering. I did just buy a larger fan for increased air flow, some new light sockets that allow me to hang them instead and a four way splitter. Would it be overkill to keep my Cree's going on the regular sockets and hang the old CFL's i was using? I have three plants and that would be a total of 7 lights with around 400 watts total.

plants that small dont need nutes.
and if your lights are piece of crap cfls like you say they are thats why the plant has stunted growth
you can also see that the plant is not getting enough light by the amount of stretching the stem has, this is trying to tell you its reaching for the light.
get a real gardening pot, they cost 60 cents at the store, maybe cheaper at walmart, they have proper drainage in them. once you get them
read this thread so you feel confident removing the plant from its soil and placing it into a new pot with new soil

imho your soil looks pretty wet to me, i dont even make my soil that wet looking but it could be light and your webcam so ill chalk that up to a possible maybe

i wouldve waited until your set up was properly done before sprouting, but now that were here
you need to do some reading, theres alot of stickies at the top of the newbie growing section and
i find www.growweedeasy.com is a really simple easy to read guide thats helpful to newbies
cfls are perfect for veg.

If you're in a house and only grow 1-2 plants you might not need a carbon filter. Just Ona Gel. I got the impression you were in a dorm or apartment where odors would be more noticeable, a landlord could let themself in.

CFLs are ok. They produce heat. But, to supplement the LEDs, fill in gaps, etc., they're ok.

I think you're referring to "equivalent watts." You'll have to think in terms of actual. The Cree LED bulbs should be 20w/sq ft in veg (less in seedling), 30 in flower. I flowered with 21 and got 1g per watt. W/sq ft might be better thought of as w/cu ft because it depends on the size of the plant. I should have done 30w/sq ft with that larger 3x3 plant. A shorter plant (in a 4' tall space), 20w/sq ft in flower would be ok. These are just guidelines.

CFL should be 30-40% more w/sq ft.

You didn't even bother to read the info I gave you just skimmed through and had to say I was wrong and write your one liner

Looks good, personally id add more soil now to the stretchy one.dont be afraid to bury that stem halfway up or more...it will just grow roots once its covered.

Should I try to pack down the new soil to help hold it up? Or should I just put the soil around it loosely?

I also found out this morning that apparently what I thought was the sex of my plant is actually just new leaves forming. Still hoping that its girl. Y'all send a prayer to the big man up top for me for the plant and the Finance and Finite final I have today. :spew:

Dont ever pack your soil down,it needs to breathe.Just water it and let it settle in naturally.Good luck on your test at school my friend.

So yea today has been a great day! Did well on my finals and I got some goodies in the mail! Its not much but damn i feel like I'm at the perfect amateur setup right now.
If you can get some reflectors on those bulbs it will be more efficient. It's not to important now (that stage of growth). But, later it may make a difference.

I'm making a "UFO" out of PVC pipe which you might be interested in. I'll let you know when it's done.

I have been away for a minute. Here are some updated pictures of the girls. I am using a GoPro mount to hold the plant up in the back because it decided to fall down. How are they looking? I have one question, I have to leave my house for until the 27th for Christmas Break. Would it be a problem if I overwatered them now to allow them to make it 10 days? Also, I was planning on putting some dry ice in my closet to help combat the lack of CO2.

So I am now 3 weeks into flowering. Really glad I didn't "cull that weak fucking thing" now. All three turned out to be girls and they all are bag seed. I was wondering if its normal for some of the flowers hair to start turning orange this early.

Its normal, especially if you touch it with anything! But touching pistols is not normal lol

Ok so I know that I have screwed up but what I want to know is how to fix my problem. I started using Fox Farm nutes about two weeks ago and I stopped PH testing my water (I know, I just kinda assumed that organic would be relatively normal PH.) There hasn't been any growth since then but they are still producing crystals. I have a crappy PH tester right now and I tested the runoff and it was less than 6. What can I do now that I have realized the error in my ways. Should I feed only regular water for a few days?
