You would think I knew a lot about growing, after many harvest, however I did take some time off, To the point My babies are sitting at 1 day shy of 1 month I am up to 7 finger fan leaves and I topped them last week and one FIM. They have since gained a lot of under growth.. and I will post some photos in the morning, started this after lights out. But any way they all but one seem freakin short 4" Is the avg and 6.5 is the tallest. very healthy looking no problems.. I think in the next week or so They should kick into high veg gear?

What strain is it? If you topped/fimmed it will stunt the vertical growth and really put work into those lower shoots for a while. do you have pics?

here are the photos this morning, 1 day shy of 1 month. they were topped on the 9th, which I knew they would be set back for a week or so. Strains are 4 of the 5 have the same father, L.A Confidential, mothers are panama punch, snow cap, unknown, and lastly 4 it does have a heavy skunk profile thought. all 4 of these have been ran before. I am getting a lot of under growth and they are becoming wide just not getting any height

If you top them when they're that small they will slow down. That strain also looks indica heavy and thus appears to be one that doesn't stretch very much so it's kind of a double whammy. They look healthy enough so a little patience is all that's needed.

In my experience it has always been when they grow a big rootball is when they take off, not really a "time" thing. In larger pots it will take a while longer for them to fill it up before they take off. Again, nothing scientific about this, just my experience.

They are very healthy, not a blemish on them, I think I topped them to early, they had just got their 7 finger leaves , so I thought would be fine. Normally I like to bend rather than top..

At which node did you top at?
Good question, I don't know. to low I have a feeling. I read its best to top early rather than later, I have 4th set of fan leaves the 3 , 5, and at 7 I topped the new growth. one one in the back left was fim'ed still not putting any height though, It will work out.

From my last couple grows I have had little stunting after waiting to top until the 5th set of fan leaves. Maybe half a week. GL man. :bigjoint::peace:
