Californian Orangebud phenotype

Hi,
This is my first post on this forum.
I live in Australia and currently have an intersting orangebud growing. I have grown these before but this particular plant is quite different than the others i have grown. I thought it was going to be a male at first but it surprised me. She is only 2 weeks in and smelling prime already. Hopefully these heads will thicken up heaps!. Anyone else had orange buds like this? The others i grew were alot denser, this one is very tall and streched. Extremely vigorous and fast growing. One of the better plant's i have grown. Hopefully the photos work. Any suggestions or advice would be awesome

Yeah man she certainly is! , i used my own compost and worm tea and a bit of seaweed solution so far. Its like rocket fuel!

Looking good mate, looks like its flowering pretty good for this time of year too. Hopefully it doesnt have the super long finish time but even if it does it should be worth the wait. What breeder is the seeds from?

Yeah, ill probably pull her around april. The sativas can take a bit of patients, l am usually prepared for waiting game haha. I think they are dutch passions. They were freebies they threw in for me.

Seems to have a bit of a spider mite problem. Hopefully they don't infest this girl. Barstards of things!

Yeah cool, ill have a look. Im just a bit suss on spraying shit on my plant and smoking it, im tipping Eco oil is alright. But if i have to treat the plant i will.

Years ago i sprayed stuff especially just for mites half way into flower and hell it was shit smoke..i think.u eould be ok with eco oil but do ur research on it first.
If the mites are not that bad maybe you can ride it out using water spraying etc but i dunno

I've used eco oil a 10 days before harvest indoors and couldn't taste it. It's only soap really.

Also you may want to add some supports for the branches. I find that my sats tend to snap branches if I don't support them especially if there's wind. Last year one of my plants snapped around 10cm from the dirt and fell over. Luckily it didn't die so I left it laying over on top of some milk crates until it finished

She is surprisingly strong, we had gales the other day. The wind was bending the plant heaps and it stayed sturdy. But as the heads thicken up i might have to support them because they are filling out very fast now

Make shift wire cage wouldnt be very hard to put together with cable ties..or maybe some concrete mesh

Just an update. Calyx starting to develop, heads are thickening up smelling wonderful. Nothing really special yet.

Developing much faster than expected, shouldn't be much longer until I hang her up. I'll extend this plant as long as possible. Maybe another 2 weeks ?
