Which hood style is the best?

To start I have only used LEDs since I started about 5 years ago. O recently have decided to look in to hps/mh to improve my yield. I have been happy with the LEDs producing nice flowers, but I know they can be bigger than they have been.
So my question is, Which hood is the best? I really am not worried about name brands, i am interested in cooled hoods. tube hoods with wings or without. The hoods with the glass panel, etc.

Not interested in ballast or bulb info currently. Just which hood style is the best.

THANKS

Gass on if you gotta ventilate through it
glassless if you have enough temp control that u dont' need to vent your hood (I'd still hook an inline fan up to it though even if its glassless)
for smaller coverage get a smaller hood
for larger coverage get a larger hood
you can usually see what reflective % that the hoods are, so maybe pick up a higher % if it is in a good size and fits your need

I know a lot of this seems obvious, but its all you really need to pick up a hood.

Or you can hang your bulb vertical

Or you can get LEC lights

Not sure of the best hood but I can tell you some of the worst: L.A, Compton, Detroit, Chicago, etc.
Stay away from those hoods.
Most other hoods will be just fine

Im actually looking for the best "Design" not the best quality. Ive been looking at vids and reviews on you tube and Monster Gardens has a nice comparison of all the different light styles. I will probably go with something like this...

Generally a smaller "shoebox" style is going to deliver more photons to the canopy but with a smaller footprint.
If you look at some of the Gavita distribution charts and the new "small room" reflector you can get an idea of what is going on

I know from experience in cramming 1000 watt HS is rooms that small. Consider two 400 watt HPS for a bigger spread or one 600 watt HPS. Check out the grow cheaply guy on the web. He has a video about environment. Keep things cool. He also uses a light mover/light rail with a cheap 600 watt HPS.
