I worked in the garden today up-potting the seedlings and watering the plants.

The Frank's Gift is getting very purple flowers:

Those mystery dirt plants look like some of my 2009/2010 grows where the plant did not branch but just had a massive trunk cola so to speak. I am wondering if those will reveg come june???

Hey Mo. What do you think for keeping outdoor plants small. 10gl? 30gl? I'm gonna put up a 10* 10 hoop house and put individual plant screens on. I have the wife.on board.to help cover them for light deprivation if we need to. Gotta stay low key

10-15 gallon would be my choice. 30 gallons would allow a monster I think. I like John Berfelo's rule of thumb 1 gallon = 1 ft, 2 gallon = 2 ft, ......5 gallon = 5 ft, etc.

If I run a 20 litre pot which is similar to the US 5 gallon my dogs are 6 foot before they go into flower outside. Most I have used was a 70 litre which basically covers one end of the greenhouse. 7 foot plus and same width.

Depends on the strain and how you train them.

7 gallon smart pots are the perfect size and easy to move (if you have a good watering system). Otherwise they dry out too fast and are 100% roots by the time you finish.

I like the bigger pots because the plants don't need as much attention.

Ok. So maybe all of them in 10gl to stay somewhat small. Seems like days are getting long enough right now to not flower... What do you think?

Everything in my garden is flowering including the sativa!

It's only 13 hours of daylight now. It was 11 hours of sunlight before we changed the clocks. When the sun starts setting at 8:30 and it's 15 hours of sunlight it will be veg time. Mid may , early june. .

Sativa can go out in August - everything else I shoot for 4th of July.

Last year my June girls started to flower and then revegged.

I can't wait to see what the seedlings do.

They make plants designed for CA weather. I still put a bag of ice on mine a couple times in the winter to make her think she got snowed on.

I had three plants at one point and now I am back down to one barely hanging on.

The garden has taken a hit from neglect while I put the screen room together. I will get it all back to snuff when I can concentrate on the garden and not construction.

Do you need a couple different varieties for them to pollinate and do their thing? Or can you have just one plant and be ok?

You can grow just one plant. Ima pick up a few when my nursery gets them in stock. Then by early june and july I will have some seeds already stratified.

You have to freeze the blueberries or seeds for 90 days before planting them.

Lucky! I can't wait to have a huge crop of blueberries again! Are they easy to clone I wonder?
