interesting observations from you and Banana444. I know some would say you could simply run a warmer COB (2700K or 3000K) to get the extra red. I mostly have 3500K and 4000K cobs at the moment but I do have 4 2700K CRI 90 vero 13s that I could throw in the mix as well as considering supplementing with mono reds (630 or 660 or both).I have noticed the exact same thing, sometimes a week or two sooner. I have rw150's and sgs190's(the all white light). The rw150's definitely bring out more color, and finish faster. Even to the point when clones from the same plant are right next to each other, each under a different light.........if one branch from the plant under all white leans over and ends up under the red and white, that one branch will have much more color and finish before the rest of the plant. It would be interesting to see if anyone has tried running their red light bars all day vs just 5 minutes after lights out, and noticed any difference.
Hi, im haveing probloms in my grow box, im useing a LED Light, its from Opticgrowing.com its the smallest one the 120 Watt, its a very nice light, its super bright when the lenses are left on, with the lenses on it was crazy the plants would not grow, there were no defincecys at all, they were young, they did not need all that bright light at the time, the tops of the plants are right at 50,000 Lux. there droopy looking as solo man on you tube was explaining all the signs of to much light the plants get what signs to look for , its best you chek out solo man if you want, he can explain it way better, i might super crop them that was the tops arent so close to the Peek Lux there getting at max, the reason i know how much lux there getting is i bought a led light meter and measured the Lux, its a very handy tool to have.alright guys, I ordered a few of the v22 v-series (they seem pretty close in capabilities to vero 29 but at signficant discount). Right now I have 6 v18s running at roughly 1A. I'm planning on dialing in the v22s to get me 75000 lux @ canopy. According to SuperAngryGuy on reddit (cool dude, seems to know what he's talking about) that's about the saturation point for photosynthesis. For most applications it's overkill, but I'm going to run 4-6 hour days in order to try and speed up the flowering cycle so I want to give them all the light they can handle. I'll run 730nm at lights out and will be reducing days(lights on) while increasing nights(lights off) -- probably in 10 or 15 min increments. I think I'll start with 6hrs lights on / 11 hrs lights off (with 730nm trigger) or somewhere around there. I'll have no "control" group, but it should be fun/interesting none the less.
Right now I'm rooting a ton of clones in 12/12 - planning on pruning to ensure single colas. I expect they'll all be throwing pistols by the time I've got any decent roots. Running some kind of SuperWreck or SuperWidow freebie (can't remember), a Critical Mass CBD, and some OG.
I'm just making sure I have the ability to give them all that they need for the shorter lights-on period. I appreciate you sharing your experience and will definitely watch to make sure I'm not over doing it.Hi, im haveing probloms in my grow box, im useing a LED Light, its from Opticgrowing.com its the smallest one the 120 Watt, its a very nice light, its super bright when the lenses are left on, with the lenses on it was crazy the plants would not grow, there were no defincecys at all, they were young, they did not need all that bright light at the time, the tops of the plants are right at 50,000 Lux. there droopy looking as solo man on you tube was explaining all the signs of to much light the plants get what signs to look for , its best you chek out solo man if you want, he can explain it way better, i might super crop them that was the tops arent so close to the Peek Lux there getting at max, the reason i know how much lux there getting is i bought a led light meter and measured the Lux, its a very handy tool to have.

"Myusual is first and last two week 12/12 with 730 at lights out and 13.5/10.5 in between with 730 at lights out. 12/12 with 730 the last two weeks pushes the plant to finish faster is the idea, like 10/14 without 730. "Great info, thanks. How long are the 12/12 periods at the beginning and end of flower?
Now you guys finish faster too? Holy shit."Myusual is first and last two week 12/12 with 730 at lights out and 13.5/10.5 in between with 730 at lights out. 12/12 with 730 the last two weeks pushes the plant to finish faster is the idea, like 10/14 without 730. "

Ive got my 730 bar in operation and i will employ that same schedule this flower cycle.
I dont understand the lab results and what you were trying to show.^^^^
https://www.illumitex.com/illumitex-advantages-cannabis-cultivation/
Results
- Independent lab tests have revealed a 19% increase in CBD and a 24% increase in THC in a side-by-side comparison between Illumitex fixtures with the F3 spectrum and high pressure sodium fixtures (see test data below).
- Production increases (strain dependant) up to 15% in overall dried bud weight have been achieved
- Decrease in growth cycles times have increased annual yield by giving growers an average of one extra grow cycle.
- For example: 82 days for HPS vs 68 days for Illumitex LED
- Overall annual yield could reach 40% when combining cycle time and harvest weights.

By the power invested in me by the RIU/Emilio Esteves School of Logic, Equality and Hypocrisy, I hereby say class dismissed. You may now return to the dickshowingsucking section, already in progress....................
There sure are many experienced gardeners discussing and utilizing uvb around various forums. You are putting that out there as if its an established fact. Is it just your opinion or are there legit studies supporting your assertions.Uvb will make plants finish faster. But yield will be smaller. Trichomes heads will be much smaller too. Personally I didn't like it. I'd rather my plants go as long as they need to So they grow to the full potential of their genetics.
any proof to that?Uvb will make plants finish faster. But yield will be smaller.
any proof to that?
so plants grown outdoors finish faster and yield smaller?
since when? the holes in the ozone layer are greatest at the poles, not the equator.Plants outside get uva not uvb through out most of the world.. Only near the equator where the hole in the ozone layer plants get uvb and uvc at the ground surface.
Red trics is what I grow for LOLPlants outside get uva not uvb through out most of the world.. Only near the equator where the hole in the ozone layer plants get uvb and uvc at the ground surface.
Plants outside take about a month longer than indoor because of star light, moon light and city lights. And they never get a 12/12 cycle. They finish at a 14/ 10 cycle.
Plus most outdoor are grown in 30 gal pots at the smallest or in the ground.
I'm referring to indoor. The proof was in my garden. I ran uvb reptile bulbs and I didn't like the results. It made the trichomes mature too fast but not develop to the normal size. So all the hash was in the 45u bag not the 73u. The buds were much smaller. A lot of the trichome heads were more red than amber. 10 weekers finished in 50-55 days.
I removed the uvb bulbs the following batch. and they finished in 10 weeks with double the size buds and larger trichome heads.
