from what i understand the only thing with real amounts of uvb are dedicated fluorecents. if it was an uncoated bulb the mercury vapor would be mostly uv. they use the phosphor coating to turn the uv into visible light. so dedicated uv bulbs jsut have less/different phosphorAre we still thinking it finishes bud faster? Its more resinous? Its more potent? Im completely confused. Hps has the UV? Cobs don't have the UV. All have the UV?
mhs have it as well but not as much as mercury vapor lamps of which fluorescents are a subset)
hps not so much
