OK first time with the DWC root spa 5 gal bucket first time DWC grow period. My water is at about 7.2 pH I gave my plant nutrients today (flora series) and my pH just seems to be going all over the place I calibrated my pH meter with 4.01 solution I went to check my water and it was at like 5.6 I was like OK that seems fine I'll wait a little about an hour goes by and its now at 5.9 I'm like that's perfect then suddenly jumps to 6.4 a few moments later and it just seems like it does not know where it wants to stay at

If you fill res with nutes give it like 24 hours before the PH will stabilize. The nute PH buffers will bring it to around 6.3-6.5ish, then PH down to 5.8.

That's completely normal mate. If you're using the nutrients correctly, as in using for example hardwater micro if you have hardwater, then even after adding nutrients the wpH will be unstable for around a day.

What I do is add the nutes, additives etc and that brings my RO water to 5.5 (perfect). After half a day the pH will spike up to probably 6.5 and THEN I add some pH down to bring the water to 5.7. After that it;s stable.
