Hiding under trash cans?

so I can't just grow out in the open in my backyard. I was thinking if I took 44 gallon trash cans and drilled holes in them would that work....I can see it working but what problems would I run into? I'm also starting a garden as well. I'm going to do corn behind the totes and my garden enclosure is in front

The only way that would work is if u turned it up the right way and filled it about 1.4 way full of soil and kept the plant short.... .and still it would prob be a turd unless u were moving the can all day.....just Forget it all

I got the cans for free and the holes were for drainage when I was thinking of growing corn in them...they still can be used.
