I am growing in coco/ and some perlite maybe 15%. in 5 gallon pots.
its been veggin at least 5 weeks, plant not wery big yet..
I might have under fed them a bit I had EC 1.2 now today after first time of flushing with plain water (not PH;ed) I upped the nutes and made it 1.4 EC the effects haven't showed yet after 12 hours...the pots are normal Wilma plastic pots and at the bottom I have added some airfilter fabric to prevent the coco to drop in to recervoir .
The plants act a bit like the draining isn't that great,,,I might try to poke thru the holes at the bottom tomorrow ..
anyway,,,I'we had this shit before but can't remember how to fix it...
So why is the new growth yellow in the center small twisting leaves...???

And yeah, I'we been feeding as foliar spray mixture of 2ml calcium and 2ml magnesium / 1 liter of water...not daily but every 4-5 days
in the early days 1ml and 1ml in foliar..

That can also be BUT what is the reason what causes it ,is it the salt build up in the pots or what....can't just start throwing things in a well balanced fertilizer set without causing more disbalance....my bet is the classic ether calcium or magnesium and the salt build up,,,
I do have iron as a extra product in my cabin,,,but that wouldn't cure the cause since there is iron in Canna Coco already..

I did the flush when changed reservoir water...just with plain water and garden hose I run water thru the pots ..put a fresh water in tank ,I have been spraying quite few times with cal/mag foliar feed, +I did a proper iron foliar feed also....but but..the new plants growth is still like lime green and doesn't look as it should....should I just poor some iron supplement in to the tank...and why are my plants acting like that....heeeelp !

So instead of foliar spray I just made a mixture of iron, magnesium and calcium 1ml/ liter 1.2 EC and poored it in to the pots about 0.3 liters of the mixture per 5 gallon pots...lets see what happens ....tomorrow I try to take pictures...maybe then somebody gets interested..

Yes I did...but there was some yellowing already before..

The new thing is the big 5 gallon pots which take some time to get lighter...before only used 3 gallon ones..and with them I could water much more often with the timer...here I cant even connect the timer because I need to test the weight before I connect the plug in for a short pumping session..

I would go with ph also drop it a little maybe down to 5.6-5.8 for coco and lose the perlite it always cause ph problems in coco from my experience

Ok for the next watering I try to drop the PH a bit...but perlite has only been beneficial so far,,,this time I have less than usual,,maybe that is causing the poorer air ratio in the bigger pots...now its like maybe 20 % perlite could be even less than that...but until now I used to do 50/50 mix and it worked like a charm...

Have you tried 100% coco??

No newer ...the 50/50 gives you a hydro like drain,,the plants love the air they get in the roots,,,I only do coco for the summer ,because the cooling effect they get for the roots,,,last time I did the 50/50 my plants grew like 1.5 inch a day...it was mad...and when tried to hit the brakes they just kept coming like 15 inch more after the flip..
