whats up guys im new to this as well , and also a vet smoker but a little bit newb on the outdoor growing and this site looked like a bad ass place to pick up on some pointers on that.

wazzup everyone??i love the chat here..im pretty knowlegable amout the but but iv never actually had my hand at it and im tryin now...ok here what im workin with..i got five seeds from a smoke session of some pretty good budz..and they are currintly in a wet paper town which is in a zipplock pouch.iv got soil in a small paper cup waiting for seedlings..ive got a closet with about eight feet in hieght and 3 feet in width for space..plan on getting a high pressure sodium light soon (heard it could be used for vegetative and flower stages and still give a honerable yield..this correct??)..i was planning on putting aluminum foil in the walls for maximum lighting... let me know if you think my first time has a possibility of survival..(lol)
P.S. is there any kind of common or less expensive lighting i could use for this other than a HPS light??where could i get it?(ex>lowe's, home depot, walmart?)how long should seeds take to sprout in a paper towel..had them in for a day and a half and nothing..i should prolly just be patient..feed back is greatly appreciated..i respect expereince

Okay so I am new here but by many years and brains cells not a kid, okay so the brain cells part is a stretch sue me! My problem is I would like to get a kit such as a cool cab "but" I live in Canada where I cannot find one. That means cross border shipment which concerns me for many reasons, customs and tracking just to name a couple. I don't have time or space to put my own system together as I work a lot any suggestions, or better yet anyone know anyone who has had a unit shipped to canada?

I decided to take my adventure a bit further today,
and I googled, and found some serious info by widow maker!
I did read all 3 pages of that!!
It was a bit too much for me to swallow all at once!
I've just been growing naturally without any equipment or precautions.
I actually just became a member,
so that I could praise widow maker and vote graciously on the pole.
It was after all that, when I made my first post.
But I'm sorry if my hastiness offended anyone.
I don't really have a huge budget to get everything right off,
and I was hoping someone could coach me a bit for now.
I'll be sure to do lots of reading here!
I'm not just some newb who wants everything handed to him..
I'm just not an avid forum dweller,
so I don't know all the proper etiquette yet.
One other thing aside:
I don't care if you're older or younger than me,
I'll respect you, if you respect me.

i agree to a certain extent ...i dont think you should be the one to say what ? iz dumb bcuz i believe there is no dumb ?...but ur right to say READ up on wut ur doing..but all in all these are just people who just like u and me like to grow ,may not know much about it but az a stoner from SANTA CRUZ COUNTY i believe we should help these individuals out w/? their problems....not matter how "dumb" the ? may b.....they just need alil aiding...im only 18 am i a kid ....NO to the state of CALIFONIA..

wuts up man new member not onlh to the site but to growing too..but i have a 8.5 ek old sprout and itz doing ok. they told me it wuz a white rhyno but im not sure i thought it would be fun just to grow it and now im obsessed with it..hahahah now i know the power of the herb...

lol yup 17. but im not here to show off im here to learn. to improve. i know a decent amount of info to grow plants and what they need but like i said im here to learn. i have my own garden of plants [which today i found out theyre all fems. so im so fucking stoked] i was wondering if anyone can tell me about how you post these things so i can make my own for people to comment and help me improve my garden in the future!!!!!
