Wanted to try out them T5's for a long time,now as Im setting a new veg room it looks like good timing .
So how much wattage would it be needed to veg 3 Plants'and veg em good ,for one month's period?

I love my 440 watt T5's ..but there are better options now..check out that GE bright stick thread.. You can buy em cheap @ Costco or home depot.

I'm not from the US my brother
But i can get T5's here,most kinds i think , 14, 24, ...to 80w But ill need to buy each of the lamps an independent fixture and chain em, cuz those grow fixtures are no where to be found here :X.
and cuz that shit runs pretty expensive ,My question was about the minimum wattage needed to provide with decent growth of 3 plants for 1 months period ( a veg tent)

I have three plants in my veg tent right now under a 2ft 24w each 4 bulb t5 set up, been vegging in there for maybe 1.5-2 months now and are doing fine. That's probably the smallest I'd go for 3 plants but that's just mo

I run 360 watts of daylight tubes on my six moms. I have a 150mvmh that I use on them every so often.

A 400 watt MH is gonna make a lot more heat than t5's. If cooling isn't an issue i'd go MH
