found a small c vault at my shop. left over car weed type shit but you get the point. this is the blue you love so much. sorry to hate on your cut. but you hated on the blue first lol and you have some negative way of thinking about vegging .. like im cheating or something because i grow bigger plants than you.. same team yo. id like to learn some things from you and im sure theres a thing or two i may know that you dont. all i was getting at is there has to be a way you can get into the 2s without compromising your 4 and a half runs per year. good luck homie

And honestly id like to upgrade my veg room and veg with something else other then t-5's. 400 watt mh does good for me in veg. im a firm believer of vegging out in final pots though..no matter how beast i veg, if i transplant right before flower, the roots dont fill out enough in final pots. how often do you water in flower?

im starting week two and im already watering every 2 days. its going to be an every day water schedule. which sucks balls but anytime that happens to me i have knocked it out the park as far as the yield. i prefer to be every 2 days mid flower. every third day = shitty yield for me.

do you check your runoff? do you get run off? .9 doesnt seem to much water. i used sunshine back in the day and would burn the hell out of everything, the quality was great once i figured it out. veg time seems shorter in coco. and a hell of alot shorter in loosefill. are you going from 3 gals into 10s? or 1s into 10s? that does seem like a badass cut if your growing it in 10gals. how many per tray?

Going 1gallon pots into tens off an aero cloner. No i never water to run off. So .9 is almost a gallon, not sure if i confused or not. No problems with burning or un healthy plants. Pretty much stay green all the way through 63 days. Maybe some minor tip burn like in the picture.

beautiful plants. 1 gals into 10s and you flip right away with no veg in final pots?
i water 3 gallons of feed to each 7 gallon pot. giving it about 10-15% run off. not too much.. but enough to get rid of any salt build up and enough for my to catch some run off and test the ph and ppm. thats how i base my next feed.

Thank you, and yes no veg time in final pots. So my wife and i take the 1 gallon pots from our shitty veg lights to the flower room and transplant them into 10's, then when 6pm comes flip the flower lamps on (day 1 of 12/12).

dude any og cut that i have.. when it goes from 1 gal rooted as fuck into 7 gal.. it isnt happy for at least a week.. if you were to somehow veg in your final pots a week or 10 days i think you would see a holy fuck difference. like 2.5+ type shit.

that first week of transition its important that they are happy.. you should consider 1 week veg. its not going to kill you to try it once. but i am going to say i told you so if you hit a home run.
do you get alot of retard plants? or stunted ones that dont do as well as the others? anytime i dont have a good root system i get more retards.

i also am not a fan of fixed height. this room was built before i got here so im trying to make the best with what i have at this spot. i have other rooms with same height and i make it work, it does get sketchy with some og strains. i would prefer 12 feet ceiling and double ended setups. this is a budget grow to get us going for hopefully something better in the future. the plants will finish at leaast 16 inches away from the bulb. if i dim the last week to prevent light burn i think i should be alright . what do you think?

Ceiling height and canopy management has been my most limiting factor for last 5 years or so. 6.5 foot basements are such a pain in the ass. Really limits what i can do and harder to hit my yield numbers.

Good thread. Never transplant right before flip. Been there done that. Yields suffer. I use to veg in my rooms because i had no choice. I finally got fed up and bit the bullet with a big ass veg room (big tent) packed full of t5 and 400 halides. Never again will i veg in my rooms. More or less perpetual now. The right strain....veg times...and plant numbers are everything when you want to hit 2+ a lamp. Double ended lamps have made it much easier. I have to settle for Gavita 6/750's because Michigan 7 foot basements just suck.

You prefer loose rockwool over coco coir huh? What are the advantages? Have you ever ran rockwool slabs on a drip setup? Open non recovery. I used to kill it in rockwool slabs back in the day. Libra trays. Running...you guessed it...m39. Lol. Hey man...it was the nineties.
