Tent specs: 2x2 secret jardin dr60
Strain specs:

This is all brought to you by robin and northerngrowlights.com, stay tuned for the ride.

UK based here :) . i was looking into the 3500k spectrum for veg, but then, i was looking into other specturms to form different parts of the growth (different units for different parts of growth).

I'm running 3000k and 4000k in my other tent, this will be my first time running the 3500s so we'll see how the spectrum compares when flowering with 3500k rather than 3000k or 4000k or mixed 3 and 4. Not going to have much veg this run though as they were grown out under another light and will be flowering under this one.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for this Vero 29 Journal.
The glass lens are removable if you run out of height in that tent.

I have been testing some tomatoes/peppers with same 3500K Vero 29
I like your tent better :weed:

Thanks robin. The footprint definitely looks like it is covered well/evenly in the space. I'm excited to see how the 3500 does. Those black panels look slick, I wonder if the white ones put out/keep a tiny bit more light due to light reflection off the panels lol. I'm sure that one horribly negligible. Hopefully I'll et my new trellis net in this week so height shouldn't be an issue. I've heard gg4 is a stretcher though...:).

It's about to get crowded in there.

"flowering under this one".

That will be the important part of the testing - that the results to the method you're about to perform is important none the less. these posts/tests/grows/reviews/ect are the driving forces towards a better product. without this post and many others i would still be stuck on other methods/products/ideals. :)

I tried this black cover on top of a white lamp. Did not see any numbers change in the tent between white and black colors.
like you said negligible difference

Yeah I figured it'd be minor if anything, I just always seem to go for white grow gear lol. I run all the white botanicare trays over black. White pots when I'm doing soil. Only time I run black over white is dwc, for obvious reasons lol. I guess I'm just a white guy...[emoji81]

Readz like you are quite racist...hahaha :D
Sort of the joke in that one. I added the cat smiley though so no one would get offended. But it's almost impossible to avoid I suppose. Oh well.

And to be fair, white trays are better than black ones because you can see how dirty hey are/all the algae on them easier so you can clean it up and avoid it better. White pots stay cooler outside. So there's reasons lol.

It also will give growers a good view on their options of spectrum when buying. I like all the options, I would like to know which spectrum performs best in my grow style. They all work though. :).
