our prison system def makes streets more dangerous takes kids man 15 16 17 and puts them in with 30 40 year olds doing life for horrible crime all over little shit like pot possession
No argument there. The war on drugs only succeeded for the ones using it to stay in political office. And to satisfy white supremacists, which amounts to the same thing. I've never seen a study confirming that there was blowback from the WOD that causes streets to be less safe but one only needs to look at how incarceration for an incidental juvenile crime like possession of MJ has led to the rise of gangs. So, I think you have a valid point.

I'd like to like your post but out of respect for your younger friend, I'll just say I'm glad he's figured it out. As long as he's breathing he has a chance to get better.

"we need more people incarcerated". What an idiotic thing to say. I know it's not what Cotton meant in his article but what he said will be used to justify more prisons, just wait and see.

prison will always be a staple in the US no way around it and he isnt a younger friend i grew up with him man havent talked in years as hes upstate now. people go down different paths most of us from back then went to the military and ended up with a shaved head (not by choice) he choose to go to the skinheaded moto gang from across the tracks and the rest is history
