Its all about the upper foliage and genetics. In most cases but not always the case, the more bottom growth you try to grow out with horizontal bulbs the less gpw you will pull. Then I am definitely doing things wrong...I can't get it how the Fuck you guys pull those numbers....so 1.36/watt ...dam..
I'we been taught 1 gram/watt is a round about max..
So everyone lolli popping could be (IF " defoliate X properly ")yield from the lower third of plant also? What I meant if not defoliated and in harvesting process you start cutting the main colas and seeing the lower parts,,they will be raw if they have been shaded.....then you would need to let them process more after taking the first ripened parts off....if defoliated properly that extra extended grow time for the lower buds isn't necessary..
BUDLEY - You should note that the pics are of only the buds! We don't really know whats below them, do we?It does look impressive!!! Every time I see this I get the urge to try it lol.
KEY WORD!Hybrid tea roses defoliate on their own as well, but unpruned roses look and produce shit for flowers. Some plants respond well to the right stressors
GPW is not an effective way to judge growing ability! Hammering GPW on purpose only takes a savvy grower that understands differing strains and grow styles! SOG can destroy GPW measurements! Then I am definitely doing things wrong...I can't get it how the Fuck you guys pull those numbers....so 1.36/watt ...dam..

I'll might have to get in to that lolly popping business more enthusiastically...
So everyone lolli popping could be (IF " defoliate X properly ")yield from the lower third of plant also?
Well that dictates until what its lolly popped the left material need to have good light penetration or it remains raw...(I know you know all this whit your eyes closed,,but maybe somebody gets something out of this, I have lot to learn before I can get to any steady proper yields )...
I know lol. I would assume there is nothing underneath but it still looks pretty like a well done SCROG. And yes I've tried without success. As for RM's side by, as far as I saw it was one strain, one grow, so hard to say it was an accurate test. Not saying it works or doesn't and it hasn't with me lol. But I figure who cares, it's only a plant and I try not to get all bent over it, life's to short .BUDLEY - You should note that the pics are of only the buds! Not to mention the only difference we can see in them is that he removes only fans between them.
YOU have seen the evidence IN RM3's pics for your self. Smaller bud size!
Now for all you that SAY you get bigger buds - don't give us late bloom shots and make claims please.....Start with shots before defoliation - after and be sure to state time of it in plant terms. Then supply us follow up pics every 5 days.....Till harvest and PROVE you're increasing BUD SIZE...
I have yet to see this actually work that way and I see it in real life - not pictures, a lot!
I don't defoliate roses, but twice during the active growing season remove 2/3's of the plant, leaving only the several of the largest canes about a foot off the soil. That's far more fucking radical a stress then plucking off fan leaves.I only remove the very lowest branching that will not "grow out to be a viable producer of a quality branch". You know, the ones that are the smallest......I remove branching (suckers) from below the branch's main bud - on the lowest 1/3 of the plant. Some branching (suckers) from the core of the plant formed by the next 1/3 of the plant and nothing above that.
This is "pruning" - NOT defoliation! Remember that "Rose" mentioned earlier? THIS is what the poster of that eludes to!
One does NOT "defoliate" a Rose by removing leaves from all over to "improve" flower size!
How do you "prune" a Tomato? Removing "suckers" from lower branching right? Now who removes vast amounts of leaves from their Tomato's?
Get the picture now?
are you uncle bens fluffer or something?According to Rollitup's anti-defoliation/flushing supreme leader, even 'pruning' sucker branches is considered unnecessary and injurious plant mutilation -- whether it be cannabis or tomatoes. All you fanboys better take heed to your ways, and sin not with your tongue, for UB may punish you with an unbridled tempestuousness for daubing such treachery.
Maybe? Dunno. Not sure what a fluffer is.are you uncle bens fluffer or something?
Well, you had better repent before it's too late.<< Uncle Ben fan boy.
Nobody said you have to trim the little buds guy, especially if you're cutting them off to begin with. Throw it in the garbage after harvest or make hash -- but all you're doing is reducing overall plant photosynthesis by removing it. If it's unproductive plant material the plant will drop it on its own. Most aren't pruning to increase the apex, they just can't stand seeing little buds lol.
And trimming for 5 mins to get one gram gets old.
