Yeah actually the lumen differences were due to higher current with the 3590s, so I don't think there is really any significant efficiency difference. Might as well just use 3070s, which have a lot more accessory options.

how does he imagine the reflector will cover these gaps lul.
nvm.. this is going nowhere, but if more of you guys mention the issue, he will find a better mold for the future

Again... this is not in His hands man. It's the ADAPTER made by Ideal that's the problem. He buys legit ideal adapters and sells those. They're cheap from anywhere online. But he got a mold for the angelina REFLECTOR so they could cost $0.88 rather than $4-8 elsewhere. But they have a flaw that doesn't allow the hooks on the adapter to engage. They don't go far enough down to give them clearance. Now it's being fixed.

Somebody could really corner the COB holder/reflector market by making some that work perfectly together with the most popular COBs and that have a metallic reflector and a choice of beam angles, 90 being a little wide for some people. Sadly, nobody is bothering. Just make white plastic holders like BJBs but that can take several hundred volts, maybe it would need to be a special heat resistant composite or ceramic, but I'm sure it could be done without having to use metal. That's actually the biggest flaw with BJB holders, low voltage rating.
