While it may be the general consensus that "they" are not interested I'm not sure that the criteria used as to why they're not is broadly applicable to gov't.
A fisherman casts his net, reels it in, and then goes through the catch keeping the large ones and throwing back the small fry in the hope they'll get bigger and be caught at a later date. (old school non tech law enforcement or sustainable fishing.)
A factory fishing boat, casts the net, reels it in, processes everything, and leaves only bloody chum in its wake as that's the only style of fishing that keeps the profits coming in when you're so large. (prolific post-9|11 growth of information sharing alphabet agencies giving everything a glance while also storing it in a Utah data center so they can look at it later if they want to and have ever more sophisticated algorithms to weed through it for keywords in the mean time.)
When considering profits (gov't budget justification) it's not about big fish or small fish, it's about numbers OF fish.
Gov't doesn't care about this site, they care about mapping everyone no matter your interests. If it leads to more money for them by using such info to bust you then mission accomplished.
Did the Binney/Snowden information not get to you?
You don't need to buy a carbon scrubber but when you're raided because neighbors reported strong smells emanating from your property you REALLY WISH you had bought one for insurance.
Insurance sucks, but when you need it you REALLY need it!
